Congrats @Bill_76 ! Please ask them if an extended warranty is available (even if you don't want one), please. Let me know what they tell you?

I got my car today and it exceeds my expectations in every way. Super fun and responsive, not too loud and the bucket seats are very comfortable with the P1 memory foam inserts. I can’t wait to put some miles on it!

My Spyder RS just arrived at the dealer, and I was excited to pick it up. But then I saw some ridiculous assembly errors in the photos they sent me. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Wow. Wonder how something so obvious gets through QC. There’s probably a WP car with a racetex dash and a leather centre console. It’s not even Oktoberfest!

Maybe they have tried to clean the dash with some harsh brush and damage the stitching, really weird to be out of production like this.

Damn. I guess I shouldn't complaint about my car production completion time being pushed back twice now (6/9 to 6/19, 6/19 to 7/5).

My car has been in production since April 12. Maybe they are looking for the correct dash

I'd be ok with that mistake. Actually should come that way so lower dash is uniform.

However as others said...easy to replace those trim pieces.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the thread about the dealer computer systems being hijacked but since they’re having to do everything on paper currently maybe that is also affecting how track your dream updates. There’s some nuggets for your hope that your car is enroute. .

agree. I asked for a CXX top dash in leather for that exact reason. Unfortunately the cost was 17k, so it was a no from me. I didn’t want to go down the rabbit hole and switch the entire interior to a different color.

Please post more pictures as I am also considering black with silver wheels and yellow ceramics!

TYD is updated by Porsche and not the dealer. So very unlikely that the hack impacted it. It does impact VAT deposits return though for European Delivery.

Took delivery today. First impression is that this is actually quite a league above the regular spyder. I know people with regular spyder had doubts but yeah it is very different.

A summary would be like somewhat of a "hot rod" experience. Almost feel like when people put a v8 in a miata. It feels like that the engine in the back can "jump out" at anytime when you press the accelerator down. The engine and its vibration/sound dramatcially transform the entire driving experience.

Even when comparing to what I experienced in GT3, it is more intense/raw/un-refined, which is all good in my book. I have no doubt that GT3 is faster when you time it, but this is surely more fun.
