Seems like forever since I started bugging my dealer for an allocation slot, but yesterday it became reality. It is so nice in person. I had a regular Spyder and was hoping for an improved version of that. This though is a different animal. The noise is so visceral. It overwhelms you. Even with just keeping it under 4K, the experience is new, better than the Spyder...and I LOVED that Spyder.

ADM Arrived!
In Canada, as far as I understand, dealers are not allowed to charge ADM, so what my dealer has done is ask me to option up the car I ordered (Weissach Package) and buy a Porsche Design 718 Spyder RS Chronograph watch, two things I wouldn't have otherwise paid for.
Well the first part of my "ADM" has arrived;
Rear, with the SRS wheel style rotor sadly did not come with Michelin tires...
And with the less flashy titanium bracelet....
Not too bad, red and black CF with a Satin Neodyme, wheel shaped rotor, which matches the configuration of the Spyder RS that, I just discovered, is waiting for me to pick up in Stuttgart. I think I'll keep it in my collection......

ps.
When I went to pick up the watch, there were Two Spyder RS' there both Grey, the only difference I saw was one had red decals on it, and the other had yellow.

All aboard the Siem Cicero.
Allocation locked 6 Nov
Exited production on the exact day, 3 May, predicted by TYD from November
Exited Emden today vice 10 May predicted.
For those still waiting, the planned schedule may actually happen.
WP w/Stripe and PCCB…so perhaps no current slowdowns as previously discussed.
Alternatively, RY builds given priority due to awesomeness.

I guess mine is built. We are supposed to have a European Delivery pickup date of 7/22, but the online TYD is now showing "not available" instead of the date. I hope that's just a glitch in the system.

Mine has been stuck, it was supposed to start production 5/12 and it hasn't updated, this happened on my last car and it didn't update until it was on its way to port!
