IMHO sounds like they planned it as a 2023MY refresh… but supply chain issued delayed it and unfortunately there was a gap? Instead of holding up production, just deleted PDLS+ LEDs. Feel bad for all those that fell in that gap and were forced to standard lights.
well it would be a bigger kick in the dick if they don't allow the PDLS+, then make 1000 cars with the base and PDLS, and then come out with a new design that those folks miss out on.

I bet the configurator still needs updating to allow for the headlight cleaners painted option... glad there's an LED option again though. I also hope you can get them in black... if not then it will be a tough decision between the LED's and Xenon's for me.. black looks nicer IMO.
Just asked my dealer about adding them to my build that locks in 2 weeks and was told they are still on stop order, so unclear if configurator is accurate here.

It's a different headlight than the one on stop order.
Maybe he isn't aware of the new headlight. My SA wasn't aware yet.
It might be the same headlight just manufactured differently hence the new option code/price and probably part numbers. I would be surprised if it looks any different.
I talked to a friend at PCNA and he said it’s the same housing as the PDLS bi-xenons just modified with LEDs. This will have the same physical appearance as the current PDLS lamp, not the PDLS+ lamp.

I just sent my new build code with the new headlight to my SA and he updated the build. It's showing up on the TYD sidt as "634" as of now. ~3 weeks from lock.

If that's true that is disappointing. The PDLS+ LED look is deeply missed!
