18252705[/url]]You mean the GPS here right, not the Sport Chrono... You are prying up the SC to hide the GPS antenna beneath it, correct?
Correct. I don’t have a speaker in that area so I was able to fish the line down to the PCM and connect it. I then used some double sided tape and wedged the antenna into place to hide it.
Clock panel? What GPS did you order? Not the Porsche one?
I ordered the generic $10 one from Amazon as someone on the thread recommended. I suspect, but don't know for sure, that I have a speaker up there in front of the clock since I have Bose. That might present a little more of a challenge to fit the antenna. I used a very similar antenna on my 981 which I upgraded to Nav and Sat radio, but I put both antennas up under the cowl ahead of the windshield.
Its held in by clips. As long as you have a proper trim pry tool it will pop out with ease. I inserted my trim tool at the 5 o’clock position and gently applied pressure. It popped out without issue.
Thank you. I suspected as much but wanted as much info as possible. I broke the gauge surround taking it out to install the cable for the cluster. I'm hoping a tight fit and a bit of super glue will fix it, a new one is $150.
The sport chrono clock. I ordered mine from Amazon for like $10. Plugs directly into the factory connector on the back of the PCM.
Bighoward, what port is the GPS antenna on the PCM? My antenna just arrived and I pulled the PCM only to find every port has a cable plugged in. I probably have the antenna unless the open space is where it goes, in which case I'm screwed because no female fakra connector us present. I don't think that is the case, every other PCM I've seen has all the connectors in place regardless of what options the car has.

if every port is filled then you already have a GPS antenna installed from the factory. The port you would need is on the far left when looking directly at the PCM.
Thanks for the quick reply, yes, I went back to take a pic and saw the blue connector that is just like the one on the antenna I bought, so I was pretty certain that was the one. I tried to followed cable back to see where it ran, but it's almost impossible to tell. Now why does the gem menu show no antenna in jy car? I did do the cfiles install inside my garage with no GPS signal, but that shouldn't matter to the specifications.

Can you post a pic so we can see what you’re seeing? To clarify, a pic of the back of the PCM.
Another option would be to unplug the attached antenna and plug in the new one to see if that changes anything.
Good suggestion. Actually one of the coding gurus on this thread is helping me since I'm VERY limited in such knowledge. I've read the threads and have a grasp if what is required but it's more reassuring to have an expert helping out.
