there does seem to be some level of maps in it already. It shows me where I am if I click map and will take me to an address. I assume the download gives more? Also odd that my auto date/time setting is greyed out. ?

You can confirm/check the version of the maps in settings on the PCM. Was date/time working before?

Do you see anything when you click the NAV or MAP buttons? My Auto Time is not greyed out. Was there before?

It looks like you have the maps from 2021-2022 already loaded. Could it be that they preloaded the maps on your car? Your MY is 2022 and Hardware version 56. My maps are from 2022.

I guess they could've. I went and loaded the 22 maps since I spent so much time trying to get them.

You know it's funny, after enabling NAV yesterday I saw for a brief moment the "assist" icon on my home screen. I guess it all figured out I had a GT4 and no adaptive cruise etc.

i guess that’s for more than the rear? Because I don’t show it anymore.

The GT4 and Spyder do not have any front park assist sensors, only rear.

Yeah, I’m aware of that. Just wondering if that only shows up for the Cayman/Boxster?

When I activated the Nav on my 2018 Cayman, the system already had maps from 2016 in it. I upgraded to the more accurate 2022 maps. (The 2016 did not even show my home street which was built in 2009. The 2022 does have it.)
