I would be interested in the programming of PTV in a CGTS 4.0. My rear brakes wear quickly and I'm assuming its because it is in "Sport Mode" when the car is in Sport+ (See table below) I like Sport+ for all of the other reasons, but would like to be able to set the PTV to Normal.
Awesome work, like you I have been using the GT3 steering setting for a while, I think it has improved but I need to go back to how it was before to check. Could be placebo but I do feel like I'm getting more feel at the limit of grip now.
Also done the rear spoiler to suit the Spyder as I run a ducktail and I wanted it to behave the same way. Does anyone have the Spyder settings they can share?
I'm now going to try the PTV, I also run a Golf R and annoyingly it has the torque vectoring without LSD and mirror dip without any memory. It does help push it around corners.

After living with the GT3 steering calibration for a couple months now it feels like it has always been this way now. But when I brought my car up to a B-road and toggled the setting it was pretty stark. Curious to hear more thoughts when you play around with it a bit more.

I took a look at mine - 718 Spyder - and it has options for Spyder/GT4, which it's already set to.
I wonder if switching it to a GT3 (identical suspension) would make a difference. Anybody tried it?
There's also a choice for 982 GT4CS.... I'm very curious about that too but wonder if the PNs are different for the rack, etc.

Only one way to know for sure lol. I'd imagine the GT4CS calibration would filter out the least amount of noise possible in order to give the most steering feel.

I have briefly looked before on my car and did not have the GT4 calibration for EPS. You might have the same part number with different firmware. We need to dig deeper with PETKA.
Interesting. Is there a way to ID the firmware via PIWIS? If so I'll pull it.
I am tempted to try the GT4CS setting as I would agree - I'd expect more "feel" from the wheel.
EDIT AGAIN: I was wrong... seems like the rack in the CS ***IS DIFFERENT** and so was my buddy.
I guess that could? explain why when I went on a little lunch drive I can't say I felt much difference. Maybe a little heavier? At any rate... putting it back.

EDIT: Confirmed from a fellow competitor who runs a bunch of CS's... the rack PNs are the same, CS to street GT4. I'll give it a try later tonight and see if I can tell a difference!
Go to the Extended Identifications Tab after you select Manual Coding. Compare the firmware with your friend GT4CS. Good luck
I edited my post above but, in case anyone missed it - confirmed, initial findings were incorrect. CS rack is different from street car.
CS rack: 9F2423061A
non-CS: 99134701138
I did try coding my car to CS, and can't say I felt much of a difference. Maybe? heavier steering? Or maybe that was placebo. It was a short drive.... and now it's thunderstorming outside and I just cleaned my car, so it's staying put.
I did try coding the car to 991.2 GT3.... and the dash threw a steering error. So it didn't like that.... I wound up just coding back to 982 Spyder.
Interestingly enough, the 992 has different settings under the steering module. I changed to "superdirekt" and the differences were quite tangible, specially in sport mode. I don't think that option is available on this platform.
