Expectation is that it's a bit quicker on the street and a bit slower on track due to intake temp issues inherent to 981 side intakes.. But wouldn't it be nice for at least someone, after dozens and dozens of these have been built, to finally let us find out how quick it actually is? Why is this as big of a taboo as placing a "find out if God exists for real" button in a church?
The dude above was happy to honor your request for a dragy, so how about it?

I don't believe that the 98 octane was to "pad the stats" as much as it was to "save the motor". That said, working with the tuner that Porsche has supposedly turned to, on Pike's Peak, and other special efforts, looks like a 93 map is now viable.

Given the way AP responded asked about increasing displacement in upcoming models, you may have to go aftermarket to do that. He seemed pretty adamant about them being on the limit of "performance with long term durability" with the current displacement.

Agreed, and not disparaging the DeMan 4.5, but a manufacturer has to look at a lot longer warranty period then an aftermarket engine builder...

Why not? If the bank account works right, one could pull the stock motor, and leave it on standby, and put in another 4.5 in its place. Given that we are headed into the supposed end of ICE, its all about redundancy if you want to stay in the game. I did the same for my plasma TV. I didn't buy an extended warranty...no point if panels were no longer being produced. I bought a 2nd TV.

Still nice to get some insights from a real world customer such as: the ECU map from DM in his 4.5 Touring was hot garbage and not running right (not like he paid top dollar or anything?) and after M engineering fixes it (+35 HP) the car makes 510 HP on the exact dyno where a 992 Carrera non-S made 374 HP on its stock tune.
Of course it's possible to run them on 93 oct, they're not F1 engines and the ECU isn't from the 80s.
But in any case the 4.5L GT3s are a very different topic from the 981/982 who obviously gain a lot more from the procedure.

I had mickeys 4.5 991.2 touring at my house for a month in Oct and did some pulls with negative DA and the original tune from rick. It was running 100 octane. Best i could do 60-130 was 8.19 sec (some were 8.3-8.5). Thats around the same I got for my 992 manual touring with an exhaust and stock headers.
I drove mickey’s touring again uncle Pete style in march down in Miami now with the M engineering re tune (which was a BIG process) it feels a little faster and doesnt need to run boostane or have CEL. Its about as fast as a stock 4rs maybe slightly faster over 120 where the aero kicks in. These are the data i got so far. The 4rs is fast btw.
So my conclusions with seat time, dragy pulls, street pulls head to head, my impression is that the deman sauce makes the car feel and sound different. For sure. U can grab speed at higher gears due to the torque. Is it faster than a 991.2? Yes. Is it faster than a 992 motor? Its hard to tell in my experience driving it back to back, racing it, and timing it. You definitely feel the torque tho and hear it
i have no idea how the ITB motor responds to the rick/mitch sauce. Im sure its fast but a turbo s would floss it all day
i also never experienced the re gear. Would like to someday

My car is regeared
My car weighs 3228 with me (165 lbs) and a half tank on board
My car also runs an M engineering tune, though I stuck with 100 oct kill mode at all times as I don’t drive it as much as other cars at home.
now that you’ve provided the dragy data for Mickeys car, it does make me curious what my car does. Just need to find the time to run it.

Great stuff. Does the Touring still hit 130+ in 4th with the re-gear? If you need to put in an extra shift that will murder the time obviously. The 4.5L GT3 should make quite a bit more power than the 4.5L 981/982 I suppose going by the claims of the builder.
My 718 GT4 with bolt-ons and M Engineering tune matched a stock 992 GT3 100-200 kmh (62-124) but that was the best time I got in it so realistically one can assume it would be a couple tenths slower on average. But that was with 465 crank horsepower measured on a state of the art German dyno that's designed to get the right crank HP. If it had a real 500 it would have been well quicker.
Modding cars is fun but you always want to measure and compare the gains otherwise not much point to it.

Thanks for weighing in Pete. Relevant points comparing, for example, my car to Mickeys:

My car weighs 3228 with me (165 lbs) and a half tank on board
My car also runs an M engineering tune, though I stuck with 100 oct kill mode at all times as I don’t drive it as much as other cars at home.

I wonder how the numbers would differ if, instead, you did single gear roll-ons from ~2000rpm. From what I understand, thats where a lot of the magic comes from with these builds.
