Default Deman catless headers and tune

Hey rick, I just picked up my 981 gt4 how much is a deman catless header and cobb accessport tune and install at your shop and what are the hp and torque gains with the stock porsche sport exhaust? Do you recommend installing the bmc filters with this set up also?

Quick question: I have an inbound spyder and was hoping to get an exhaust now and do the DeMan 4.5L upgrade down-the-road (in 6-12 months). Which exhausts (DeMan or other brands) do you all recommend for the best combination of "power" and noise quality (GT3-like shriek) for 4.0 and 4.5L?

Was initially thinking either:
1. JCR valved silenced backbox + Dundon headers/OAPs
2. Kline inconel OAPs/backbox + DeMan headers

That said, open to other options

Default What's better than the DeMan 4.5L?

Having (2) DeMan 4.5Ls. In his podcast, Matt talks about visit with Tom Segura, who has 718 GT4 4.5, and a GT3 4.5, and talks about some of the engine/performance differences, M-Engineering tuning, and insights from from DeMan. I believe a drive/review video of the visit is en route. Podcast link below should be queued to subject so not to worry about seeing Matt's "horrible Spyder spec" :

I haven't heard great things about DeMan to take this endeavor. His hp claims are based on 98 octane on top of that. Not really worth the money and you can get close with safe bolt on and tunes.

You "haven't heard great things about DeMan?" ....I think you are in the significant minority based on threads here....
What are you referring to specifically?

Given the number of stock, and molded, exotics Matt has driven, especially Caymans, I"d say Matt as well.

"Worth it" is relative, but doubtful bolt-ons are going to make an uphill (and I'm talking 5% grade) 3rd gear pull, from a slow roll, feel the same as as a stock car in 1st gear on a flat. Factor in some exhaust "solutions" are $20k alone, pick your poison.

I bet that is also true. I also thought Matt’s comment about his exhaust was interesting, I wonder if he’ll eventually change it out.
