We have a 4RS too but the 'regular' GT4 will allow us to just re-visit the platform and complete development on a number of components plus some new parts which I think will be extremely well received

Also this new GT4 is a PDK car which will be a nice opportunity to back to back from our manual car

We have 8 cars coming in 2023 - I truly believe the only way to properly develop and test is to invest in these cars and not just loan customer cars for a couple of weeks

Happy New Years everyone! Just got a allocation for a 718 Spyder and struggling with color options. Is anyone else thinking of ordering Arctic Grey with classic interior and red roof? Hard to tell how it will look based on the configurator. Do you guys think it’s a bad idea?

Check pages 13 (Spyder with Classic Interior) and 14 (GTS with Red interior and Red Roof). I don't personally think it's a good combination as Arctic Gray has shades of blue in it, but to each is own. It will be rare, that is for sure. Good luck!

I would absolutely get it again. I had Bose in my 718 S, and Burmester outperforms it with pretty much every genre that I listen to on a daily basis. Everything from Freddy Mercury to house music sounds better. The sound is punchier, more defined, and less exhausting on longer drives - I know this because I've already done over 300 miles in 2 days. My biggest problem with Bose was that it needs to be loud to enjoy any music and hear all the notes, especially electronic music, but at higher volume it's also very fatiguing and hurts the ears after a few minutes.

For what it's worth, I've read all the differing opinions on Burmester vs Bose vs Custom and I think there is some truth to most of them. Sure, Burmester isn't the best ever OEM system but it's the best you can get for the 718 without doing a custom job. And yes, it's a loud cabin but to me that justifies the Burmester even more.

Page 13 classic interior looks good IMO. Page 14 top is making me doubt the red roof for me. I agree with the shade of blue that’s throwing it off. It might have something to do with shape of the roof on the GTS or the color of the wheels as well. Probably have to go with a black roof to play it safe.

Page 13 is my car. The contrast of the Bordeaux inside with the arctic grey exterior works really well, even with the blue in the arctic. I’ve only had the car about a month and I think I’ve gotten more comments/compliments on it than any of my previous p cars combined (maybe they were just ugly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). That being said I’m happy mine has the black roof.

The issue I’ve found with the classic interior on arctic is the GT silver interior trim. Still trying to figure out the best option for a swap.

I agree, your car looks really nice with the classic interior and black roof. I was going to get aftermarket carbon fiber interior trim since you can’t choose that on the classic interior without going the exclusive route.
