Probably because the chances of seeing Arctic Grey on a GT4 or any Porsche model in real life are slim to none. I've only seen the little colour sample in the dealership and it's impossible to imagine it on a large scale.
FWIW, when I saw that walk around video a couple of months ago, it actually put me off the colour. I really like how Arctic Grey looks on JCR's photos on instagram, but I can tell they have been heavily processed. If the only way I could get an idea for the colour in real life was to see a very similar colour on another brand/model car, maybe that would have helped. In the end the photos varied way too much for me to take that risk
Ahhh ok that makes sense. It's the launch color for the RS so maybe those will start showing more in the next few months. There's so many GT4RS videos with the launch car that it's really easy to see it in so many different lights.
But as you said...not in person. Color is so different for every set of eyes. It's very individual.

100% spot on. I saw one at the dealer for a split second not even realizing it. And now the closest Arctic grey car on a lot is too far to go look at. So I'm trying to see if there's a more prevalent car out there that you guys would recommend so that I could check it out in person.

Anyway, yes. I am overthinking it.
Lol...good luck man. It's for sure a hard decision. I was 100% PTS Gulf Orange til they said no-can-do. Then I honestly thought Shark Blue would be second choice until I saw AG up close and it was a done deal.

For sure. I was GG with Arctic then all of a sudden with time ticking and seeing that damned CRV everywhere shook me up. How close is it to Nardo?

I can only compare it to Audi's nardo, which is close, but I think nardo shows much more light grey in natural light. Again....my eyes...and up close at a dealer with lots of natural light. FWIW

You're not overthinking it all. It's called enhanced due diligence and you're doing the right thing. How awful would it be for your car to arrive and you not love the color? Is that a risk you're worth taking? It wasn't worth it for me so I went in another direction. Anyway, this is my last comment I'll make on AG in this thread. I don't want to steal any more shine from the wonderful vehicles in this thread. Good luck and let us know which color you decide on.

Right. Totally subjective and somewhat precarious, but completely helpful nonetheless. Appreciate it. So are you saying, to you, Arctic is darker, or more blue vs Nardo?

I wouldn't say darker, Audi's nardo just shows more flat grey under natural light to me. The AG seems to give off a smidge of violet/blue under certain light. But not anywhere near the Honda you are seeing.

That was my last question. Thanks for all your input.
My first post! Anyway I thought I would post some pics of my recently delivered 23 tts. I hope this helps those of you on this thread considering arctic grey. I wish I would have seen it before I ordered, but I gambled and couldn’t be happier with the result. It really is a beautiful color in person. I was just bored with all the normal colors and wanted something different. It changes between a puddy grey to a blue grey depending on lighting. It definitely has a decent blue hue to it, but that really sets it apart from similar greys out there. Not a good photographer but I included pics in different lighting as color changes a bit. Personal preference, but it pairs very well with black accents and racing yellow.
