Jealous. On my list of things to do but it needs to be at least 40ft deep as I need to cover my class A and my wife wants a playroom upstairs. I'm afraid to price it out.

Thanks Eric @SupremePower for feeding the addiction.

The perfect wheel and colour choice IMO... though based on previous comments made, I'm surprised you chose that colour, it is a very bright silver.

For the price of a FI-R set, you can get Apex wheels, Brembo/AP Racing two piece rotors, and AG Lithium battery and drop significantly more weight.
agree

Personally @MaddMike I think you are doing them a disservice based on no evidence (that you have shared) that their advertised replacement program is anything but legitimate @Apex Wheels

You misread me. I am not knocking them, but they are a small company with a short history. I have had plenty of "lifetime guarantees" from companies that went under or were absorbed by others. For example, I bought a Toyota once with "oil changes for life". The franchise was then bought out by another dealer who changed the name and would not honor the oil changes as it was with a different company. It is just the way the world works. Even big names such as Kodak are no more so a guarantee is only good while the company is around. I hope thy will be but nothing is guaranteed.

Well, my wife intervened as she didnt think I need yet another set of wheels when she wants a new kitchen so those plans are on hold.

Yesterday I put on a set of 255/35 and 285/35 19 Bridgestone RE-71RS on my track wheels. It is cooling off here and track season is upon us.

Got the OE shark blue door straps installed (they really compliment the belts and stitching, it should’ve been built like this!), Burmeister tweeters in, and all cleaned up for winter hibernation with the original Spyder cover. TBH I’m a bit disappointed with the quality of the cover. It’s quite thin and not that soft inside. I expected better for what these retail for.

Handwashed before getting tucked away for winter.

See y’all in 2024.

Yeah those door pulls in blue really make a huge difference. Looks great! Was the install as difficult as it looks? I too have shark blue interior and have been procrastinating about doing this. I’m afraid pulling off the door card will create creaks and rattles.

They come apart very easily and go back just as well. I wouldn’t worry whatsoever. They’re designed to be taken apart if needed.

That said, I had the dealer install them as I had a very loud rattle on the passenger door since new. Turned out it was missing a clip from the factory… 🤦‍♂️

Picked up a set of JCR Manifolds from the Market Place! This will finish off the exhaust on my car! Currently already have the JCR OAPs with 200 Cell Cats and the Akra Rear Section. Plan on installing these over the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend

Upgraded my JQWerks paddles to the Weissach style billet units. HUGE improvement in look and feel! I didn't care for the aftermarket feel of the lightweight carbon paddles with squared off edges, but these aluminum ones feel true OEM+
