You could always opt for the cheaper method.

For sure. It it makes you feel any better, it comes with the internal mechanism so it isnt just for the pulls. Not that they will ever fail but in case they do, you have a spare.

Also recommend you put in some door insulation (Dynamat or the brand of your choosing) while you are in there especially if you have Burmester.

Yup, looked like a lasagna noodle after a few months and the blue never quite matched. It was thiner and less substantial than OEM. I finally bit the bullet.

^Correct. At least it’s the full assembly and not just the fabric pulls.

In terms of costs, yeah, it’s pricey but what isn’t on these cars? I tried to do it via CXX and it would’ve cost even more, but to me, the convenience of having it done from the factory from day 1 was worth the $. For whatever obscure reason, that request was denied lol.

Ultimately my dealer was friendly enough to install these during a service visit so it all worked out in the end.

I went with the 521M with custom offsets. Hopefully I can get them mounted this week, I'm excited!

Speed Blue and Shark Blue interior items are the same btw. This has also been confirmed by others on this forum with statements from Porsche.

No idea why they call the belts or pulls Shark Blue, but the stitching threads Speed Blue.

As far as I know there has never been a factory Speed Blue seat belt option. There is a Shark Blue option, which probably is your seat belt color as well. I've read on the forum by other members just like 6ixspd that Speed Blue and Shark Blue are one and the same.
