Had 4 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's installed on my second set of wheels and swapped the 4 lock wheel lug bolts for regular wheel lug bolts. Only thing left is the CMS roll bar which has been ordered. Then I hope to be done with buying for a while, except for gasoline!

I hate locks. Where did your source the regular bolts?

I bought the OEM ones at Pelican Parts and used my PCA 10% discount. My local Dealer wanted $92 for 4,they were $52 for 4 before the discount at Pelican. My wife wanted new wipers for her Macan so I bought those too to get my order over $99 for free shipping. The part number is WHT-006-978. They also have Febi brand for less.

I'm interested in how effective these are. My rear quarter panel is getting beat up by rocks. Where did you get these from?

Drop a PM to @Tommy L Garage to buy a set.

Video speaks a thousand words better than pictures, speaks for itself.

Screwing it in is the best way, there really is no way to secure them at this point of the car.

Even Porsche uses screws when mounting things to the liner, look at my pictures, you can see I have extended RS aero fins and those are also held on by screws.

See my post 1939 and 1961, you’re welcome to use my solution for yourself.
Make a professional set for all the wheels Tommy, I’d bet you’ll sell a bunch 👍

it screws into the fender liner, not the fender. The fender liner takes a beating just due to its location.

A couple of screw holes on a near-consumable part of the car won’t have any negative long term affects, including resale value.

it’s likely cheaper to replace the fender liner than respraying the car (which will hurt resale) and/or PPF that area.
