Today I bought a very nice set of used 718 GT4 wheels in Satin Aurum, with center caps TPMS and N1 Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with 2022 date codes with plenty of tread for at least 1 multi day track event. Next I will buy some Ultra High Performance All Season tires for these wheels so I can drive on nice winter days regardless of temperature.

Nice. How much did they set you back? From a forum member?

Nice. I'd like to have a set of black factory GT4 wheels to swap in and out. Shouldn't have sold the ones I had on my 981 Spyder.

i too bought a set of gt4 wheels w/dunlop tires for my spyder. they’re silver, just like mine. i intend to have some fun with plastidip before deciding to paint them blue. my original tires are ps4s, which i spec’d because i was worried about the rough ride, noisy tire and the constant battering of the fenders with little rocks with the sticky tires. i mounted the new wheels today and took them for a drive and am pleasantly surprised at the nice, quiet ride.

i’ve seen them listed here for $3-5k, depending on condition, tire miles and age, tpms included. i was patient and waited until a local set was listed, as i’m not interested in online sales or shipping

I picked up mine from a forum member for $4K. Black 2016 GT4 wheels with Cup 2 tires, about 60-70% tread and TPMS, delivered to my So Cal door from Maryland. They were a solid 9.0 out of 10 condition-wise. If I could duplicate that now, I would.

Can you share the source of the “leather gas folder protector”?

Are they from Crazy Eddie?

Thanks

Dave

That's my Shark Blue CGTS. I love that leather flap, but the rectangular is sort of a lot of material to roll in there. I wonder if the round would fit better.

Just don’t overfill your tank. This is not necessary.
