[quote=Runner]FWIW - I agree about the leather piece as useless. LOL!

This week, I did a few things focused on comfort and sound.

1) I bought the BMC air filters ($179 at sun coast) that allows the engine to breathe better from the intake and reviews say that it increases the intake sound which I will like a lot if it does. In order to pair with the intake increase, I have decided to remove the OEM OAP and replace it with the Akrapovic Titanium Race Link Pipes ($2123) - OAP slip-on. I am keeping the OEM back box.

2). I have LWBS which (to me) are a little more upright than I like. So I ordered the TPC Racing Full Contact Seat Angle Brackets ($339) that will recline them perfectly for a more comfortable tilt. I have these on my LWBS in my 986 Boxster and it made a huge difference in comfort. [

Just curious, you any experience with the filters?

I got exhaust brain, so this had to wait. I finally got it installed and I think it looks great. Kind of a fussy thing, with no real instructions. The most stressful thing was not ruining the fabric boot while removing it from the glued in OEM collar.

The whole install was stressful for me, trying not to scratch or mess anything up, lol!

Between yesterday and today I've ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's for my extra set of factory wheels, 4 wheel lug bolts to replace the lock lug bolts, a CMS roll bar, and an extra pair of seat belt receptacles for my race seats so I can just swap seats for track season. This is going to be it for quite a while (so I tell myself)!

Got home from Florida today and these were in my driveway. Now to figure out what I want to mount on them. Color combo is pretty wild.

No time like the present to give them a quick wipe down, then ceramic coat those beauties!
Whats specs did you go with?

True. OEMs are ceramic coated and I do have some wheel ceramic somewhere in the garage.

These were part of the Apex Forged group buy so I didn't specify the offsets and trust they got it right.

The apex 20" fitment is 9" front and 11" rear with +50 offset front and rear

What center caps did you go with? I am trying a black set if not, I'll probably have to have them painted.

They probably are on their own but with headers, free-flowing exhaust, and tune, they may help. After all, they are in the RS and GT3.
