Well, the 'Vessel Groundhog' saw its shadow...it's another 2 week delay for my carat Emden. It's now estimated at 12/30 per TYD for my car to be on a transport.

Hope to read accounts from others who DID make the transport that arrived in Emden on 12/16.

Ah LOL - guess it just makes us part of the "in crowd" then ... I guess we have to obsess over something while we wait to obsess over the car.

Super bummed, had a GTS 4.0 build completion date of 12/16/22 and delivery date of 1/27/23 for the last 2 months. Then yesterday, the day of the supposed build completion it updates to 1/20/23 completion and delivery of 3/3/23. Paying ADM and now it extends over my lease that I was going to return, creates a hassle for me. Still stoked to get this car and I know this is not as bad as others have had it with their wait times, but it's still frustrating.

From my experience with TYD, the delivery dates will fluctuate. Theres always a chance that it will go back a bit. Granted i definetly noticed that the initial estimate generally is always wrong, but my final estimated delivery date at one point went out to 1/07 but then is back to 12/16 within a month of it hopping on a ship.

How many days in between arrival at dealership, and vehicle being ready for pickup at dealership?

Totally depends on what is going on at the dealership and to a lessor extent your relationship.

My car arrived around 2PM and was delivered at 9AM the next day.

Is asking them to "hold" it for a ~10 days out of the question?

Nope…quite typical.

It might depend on whether they need the revenue in 2022 or are willing to push it into 2023. Commissions, bonuses, etc. are typically calculated on month-end and year-end sales figures.

My experience with this is you want to let them know sooner than later what your planned pickup date is.

My own personal experience is a bit different however since i am doing LA PEC and i was given a choice over the course of 2 months to choose a pickup day. And they even said i could choose further out if i wanted to within reason (they would have said no if i chose a time 6 months out for example).

I'm seeing the same this morning, SFL Conductor looks ready to leave for Halifax today, and according to TYD I didn't make it aboard. The real bummer is that there is no currently no available schedule showing any boats past the Conductor heading to Houston.

My car was originally due to arrive at the dealer in October, production started in September then stalled and it didn't arrive at Emden until 11/30. I've missed two boats so far, this is getting old.

What is your build like? It just seems crazy to me that you started production before me however my car is going to be at the dealership today.

My build is relatively basic: 6 Speed, black, black wheels, full leather interior, premium package, 18 way seats, and a few other small things. I believe my delays were related to Bose and then Luxor Beige interior, but I'll probably never know.

Spyder? GT4? GTS? I'd be willing the interior and Bose is whats causing the delay. My build has no "trouble" items which is probably why it went through relatively quickly.
