2200 miles on my Spyder since taking delivery August 12th. Every excuse to drive it ... I'm out the door.
This is an amazing car. Possibly the best sports car made. Once the rain comes and I have to swap my 992 into the garage ... I am shocked to say I think I will be missing the 718 Spyder.
This car evokes memories of my youth driving 70-80s 911s. The Spyder just **feels** like the driving experience we expect from Porsche. So glad I decided on getting one before this era comes to an end.

Well, I think maybe I pissed off the gods. My CP8 day got bumped from 9/23 to 9/30, then as of this morning it got bumped to 10/21. You just start to get used to the delays I think. The car was originally slated to be here 9/29 when I went v200. Lots and lots of delays. It could be worse. We still have dream cars coming.
My CP8 is also 10/21, but it's been staying that way for the past few weeks. Similar to you, when the initial 'spec lock date' passed, the ETA for dealership arrival was shown as 09/16; which obviously didn't happen. I didn't think it was realistic anyway for a 2023 to be on shore in NA before week 3 of Sept. Now, I'm just hopeful that port issues in Europe don't further delay it by weeks after production is complete. Not too much time left, if any, to enjoy the car in the Northeast before salt hits the roads.
Fingers crossed for both of us there's no further delays.
I'm also curious on prioritization for outbound shipping. Do they just go into a FIFO queue, or do 'sold' cars get priority for loading? Anyone with insight on that?

I just got pushed 3 more weeks again this morning. Started production on 9/19, CP8 was 9/23, last week was pushed to 9/30, then this morning it was pushed to 10/21, with an arrival at dealer of 11/25.

I've heard nothing from Porsche about TYD. On the other hand, my SA says I'm at V250.

TYD still gitchy. Yesterday I was in production (from 9/7) but today I'm at ready for transport and skipped over cp8.0. I also don't have dates for either of those. Sadly, I'm still not holding my breath over this.
