For those MY22 allocations you should also track V900 Dealer Inventory (on Sale Date) and EPA Cert status (CARB also if you live in one of those states).

Last year this was 4 Dec despite cars showing up in port in early Oct. EPA Cert was granted in mid-Nov and CARB about a month later.

992s were the same except some had been in port since July

They will not be port released until certified.

Hopefully PCNA is on top of the paperwork this year.

Is this kind of status update available for U.S. customers as well? I don't think I've been added to any type of automatic updates system. If it is available in the U.S., is it just called "My Porsche"? Would like to ask my SA about it. TIA

I don't believe USA has access to that system. Basically, we need to rely on our SA's providing the updates.

SA just sent me an update, went V250 fixed on June 29th for my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0. I have never been able to get the car linked to my "myPorcshe" account even after several emails & calls to both the connect support & my SA.

Requested Allocation April 24, 2021 / Allocation received May 17, 2021. I was 1st in line for an allocation at my dealership.

If it makes you feel better my lock date is stated at 7/17 (my Event Status shows as 7/30), but mine won't get completed supposedly before the August shutdown, so my car will be sitting in a parts bin for a month before getting assembled...I was good with legos as a kid, maybe I'll show up and get started while they're on leave?

Looks like it! My allocation was approved on the 1st of April, I wish it was first come first serve so I wasn't having to wait so long. I'm happy people are getting them sooner, I just figured with an early allocation my build would have started sooner like these folks...will make MN winter all the longer.

I just asked mine for an update, he replied quickly. If you look at my original email, my expected date is July 9th now. pushed 1 week.

Wait, so some people got allocations after you but are getting cars before you? Strange indeed. I wonder how the factory determines which allocated cars to build when. Or is it that the allocation to each dealer has an order which is independent of when that allocation is assigned to a customer. Who the heck knows! Just build me my car!

Sidebar: In Nov 2008 I custom ordered a new Jeep Rubicon. I added every single option they had (even engine block heater because it was only $15 and, ya know, I could!). The window sticker had my name on it so it was a true factory order. From the time I placed the order to the time it rolled off the truck in NY, it took 20 days as I recall (it might have been less even). The plant manager called the dealership and said this was the fastest factory order he's ever seen. I assume my order caught a car that was already rolling down the line with enough similarity that they just assigned it to me (and added the aforementioned engine block heater, of course).

Yea, I was told it would be one of the first GTS. I'm not disappointed about the scheduling, I just wanted mine before the shut down to be able to drive it while it was nice out. I'd imagine it's an allocation that's tied to a build number at the plant...that's about the only way I can explain why getting an allocation before others puts me further back of the line (unless it is related to my specific build that has some full leather options and seat stuff, which with the current chip shortage could be part of it).
Do some of you folks that have July/August/Sept deliveries have 18 way seats or just LWBS / 2ways? Thanks!
