Hi John,
I spoke to Michael at Cargraphic regarding this and he said they no longer make this set up due to O2 extension cable requirement. You're saying they still offer this?

Are you sure the valves aren’t always open? I had this problem once. Valves were always open and the loud sound was skull shattering.
valves are functional - I'll do a freewway run with my Db meter just for $hits and grins! I couldn't even open the valves my head would have exploded!

I think I will either go back to OEM, in which case I will have a set of Soul OPF with jet hot coating for sale ... or I *might* try the Akrapovic OPFs...

Never mind, I stand corrected. Cargraphic does offer something similar to Dundon and JCR Headers + OPF Cats

If the Soul OAPs + Akra rear is too loud there is no sense buying the Akra OAPs. I'd expect them to be indiscernible in volume. I think you'd be better off installing the stock OPFs and if that is too quiet with the Akra rear then look at other OPF replacement options, such as those from Cargraphic.

Akra OPF pipes won't sound any different than Soul. They are both the same thing from a performance and sound standpoint -just basic piping. Only Cargraphic with their resonated pipes might make a difference.

According to Michael from Cargraphic, it's the OPF with flow optimized inserts without monitoring for ROW models. This will make the sound more subdued and gives you no drone and no raspiness (resonance) when mated with an X-pipe silencer.

@808c2s

Eric @SupremePower is working on it for me! ( )

I'll report back on the combo of this and the Slip on... which might be the ideal solution for me! (vs going back to OEM)

I'm thinking the no filter, no sensor units. The cans will basic function as resonators, although I don't know if they are just hollow cans or if there is anything at all inside. These, combined with their touring or club sport rear muffler.

I am thinking this combo may be ideal as well. Still awaiting for my Spyder to be cleared of this Stop Sale situation so I can get the Cargraphic system from Eric already

Perhaps the no filter insert and Touring will be fine, but with the X-pipe, the optimized flow filter insert is the way to go, per Michael for no drone or resonance.
