Just picked up the car with the Kline cat back exhaust (stock headers/cats), short rev 5k video (soft limiter).
I will be doing a video with the mic in the back this weekend.
it sounds really good, I left the valves open all the time and does not bother me 👍🏻👍🏻

I had installed soul valved rear section (valves open) before the Kline and it does not bother me with top up or down, didn’t go with thier overaxle pipes because they do not have muffled ones.
I drovethe Kline with the top up and no drone too, and really quiet in the highway cruising around 3000 rpm and around town (valves always open), so top down it should be better from my point of view (drone perspective).
the big change is the OPF, I drove only 20 miles back and you feel more torque, more agile and the sound is clean now, good job Kline 👍🏻

As an aside, I am going to my local PCA GTG this saturday and there will be a Boxster GTS with Inconel Kline(I am stainless). I know not totally the same but going to try to get some comparison vido.

I went "looking" for drone today while driving. 6th gear and 2000-2500rpm. I could not detect any. I think KitCar review said there was some there. I can't find it. IMO, this system has zero drone.

No promises as it is a friend of an acquaintance. They are RLers and pinged me on here to see what my car sounded like. So that meeting is supposed to take place Saturday.

I’d like to hear the comments of someone with a GT4 and stock headers after they perform the same test. I’d be amazed and impressed if there’s no report of a resonance boom in the cabin. Let’s hear some reports!

I just installed the exhaust with a friend. Took us about 2 1/2 hours. We did not have a QuickJack so we just used ramps and a regular jack/stands. Wasn't too hard. I would say the most annoying part was taking off the 5 bolts connecting the rear section to the GPF. We also installed the Car Graphics Valve Controller. That was actually way more annoying then the actual exhaust for a cayman.

Anyone on here install the revised valve controller?
Was supposed to pickup car from the shop today but mechanic hit a snag with the supplied vacuum lines not being compatible with the factory lines.
Issue is the vacuum line is a hard plastic line (blue) off the solenoid on the engine. It then turns to a steel braided line that runs over the transmission and to the exhaust valves. The black rubber vacuum line supplied with the replacement kit does not fit the hard lines in the engine.
Is the extra solenoid to be installed over top of the transmission? It will require removing the panels under the car etc and doesn’t seem correct.
Thanks for any info.
