There are actually three dates for every entry; Planned, Expected and Actual. You are seeing planned and expected, and from my experience which is limited to the progression of my car, they really don't mean a heck of a lot. Mine went into the factory a week early, came out a week late and now the delivery to the dealer is several weeks later than originally estimated. I would not be the least surprised to get it weeks earlier.

Too funny, you have the exact same schedule as I have! Mines coming to Victoria so it must have been a Westcoast group slot for all the allocations.

Mine is stuck in the factory too. It started production on 9/11 and has had new delayed dates twice now. The latest is V300 by 10/30. As a result, I am not even sure it will be in port by 12/4. It is a PDK Cayman GTS. I can only guess at a part shortage. I have the GTS package with LWBS. ... possibly they did not have a carbon fiber seat with carmine thread in stock....

having visibility into the production system is a double edged sword - you get to glimpse "how the hotdog is made" - but not in the gory detail - and then the imagination kicks in ... next thing you know its all over social media as a QAnon conspiracy theory!
I do know from interactions with Exclusiv that there was some changes in Spyder component suppliers (because it affected the feasibility tests for some of my PTS/CXX options) so maybe that's what's going on here ...a hiccup in the JIT manufacturing supply chain.
Note also that there was some issues with PTS availability also which moves things around too ...
Its also worth noting - there are a lot of cars backing up at ports of entry - once they are released to dealer delivery there will be delays clearing that backlog of cars...

Yeah, I have no idea what is really going on. I just noticed that in the big database on non-PTS cars - I was one of the only GTSs with the LWBS. I also talked to Ed Guard about getting my bolster protectors - he did not realize that Carmine was an option for the thread color. The LWBS are not typically offered in that color. He had to order thread and I'll have his first set ever with Carmine thread. So, I was speculating based on my experience with Ed. If you want it to be really funny - my wife suggested that Ed bought the last Carmine thread from the thread vendor and Porsche can't finish my car because Ed is making my bolsters! ;-)

I am looking at a December delivery in Ottawa and the biggest issue is whether i will have to get my winter wheel set to the dealer to get it home. Then instead of staring at it for months I am going to drive the hell out of it. Its a car, not a sculpture.
