Yeah, I have no idea what is really going on. I just noticed that in the big database on non-PTS cars - I was one of the only GTSs with the LWBS. I also talked to Ed Guard about getting my bolster protectors - he did not realize that Carmine was an option for the thread color. The LWBS are not typically offered in that color. He had to order thread and I'll have his first set ever with Carmine thread. So, I was speculating based on my experience with Ed. If you want it to be really funny - my wife suggested that Ed bought the last Carmine thread from the thread vendor and Porsche can't finish my car because Ed is making my bolsters! ;-)

Just heard from my SA the boxster/cayman s/t moved up from a 12/31 on sale date to 11/13 today. Hopefully that means good things for the GT4/GTS and Spyder.

Cayman GTS 4.0 with Leather/RaceTex Black/Carmine interior, GTS interior, and LWBS - I even did the dash and steering column in leather and I believe they are deviated with the red (carmine red) stitching to go with the GTS package. It is a bit overkill but I've waited a long time to build this car. Code: PMF513X3. The best way to see all the details is to use the augmented reality ap.

I am looking at a December delivery in Ottawa and the biggest issue is whether i will have to get my winter wheel set to the dealer to get it home. Then instead of staring at it for months I am going to drive the hell out of it. Its a car, not a sculpture.

Cayman GTS 4.0 arrived in Davisville R.I. on the Siem Confucius last Thursday. I received this from my SA yesterday.
"So the car arrived at the port on Thursday from what my system is telling me and is on administrative hold for EPA and CARB certification. My rep was here today and from what we are being told it is supposed to be approved by both on 12/4. If its approved on 12/4 its usually 3-5 days to be released and start arriving at dealerships."
Gentian Blue, platinum satin wheels, chalk/black 2 tone interior, 6MT, my first MT after 3 PDKs ! I take delivery in Edison, NJ and live down in Ocean City, NJ

This is interesting news. Like the previous post my Boxster GTS 4.0 has also arrived at Davisville as told to me when I telephoned the Porsche Customer Care number. If things could be moved up from the 12/4 date that would be great.

Seems like they drop about 200 Porsche vehicles at Houston couple of times a month and it's working fine -- will just be few extra 4.0s. Minor problems for sure...

I just checked in with my SA and the car is already on the ship arriving next week. Very excited! 
Really hope the certifications can be done before December so we can pick up our cars without having to wait a month and a half for no reason.

My 2021 GT4 PDK was unloaded from the Bosporous Highway at the Jacksonville port on October 6th. There it sits waiting for EPA to adjust the Dec 4 "on sale" date. It's killing me!
