My 2021 GT4 went into production on 8/31. Don’t expect delivery until the on sale date of 12/4. I originally thought it was PDK only cars but it must be everything.

My MY2020 Spyder entered production on 7/27 and has not completed yet. I have spoken to my SA and his boss multiple times, called Porsche North America, emailed Porsche North America, and cannot get any explanation for the situation. It does not have any CTX items. Its Gentian Blue, platinum wheels, silver stitching, silver seatbelt, etc. Very frustrated at this point. It was originally a June lock, July build, August delivery. If anybody has any suggestions for getting info out of Porsche I'm all ears.

Did they do a plant shutdown in August like they usually do each August? Still shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks for production but I did see another July build schedule where it took a little over a month.

I just asked my SA for a screen shot like the ones shown above... we’ll see what it says and what the story is.

Yes. There were zero cars built (in Stuttgart at least) for the first three weeks of August.

My 2021 GT4 is due to be built this month and I will take delivery at the LA Performance Center. The latter contacted me and told me to expect an early Dec. delivery. This is consistent with a hold on 2021s until 12/4.

Or a coincidence. My car goes V260 on October 2, delivery 11/27. Have not yet heard anything to indicate there is a delay. American cars are being held up because of EPA certification requirements. Not sure if this is the reason for the delay reported by the OP.

11/27 will magically become 12/4.
