Ok, just heard back from my SA. He says release date is still 4 Dec so unsure what’s going on.
Here is my screenshot from a few moments ago.
I think its simple/obvious, no matter what the build, departure, or arrival date is, *all* the MY2021 cars are being held at port of entry *until* proper emission certification(s) are obtained ... and they are probably held by customs pending such because the cars are not legal for sale w/o!

yep, all the other changes in dates are "noise" ... PAG could parachute a car out the back of a C130 for all the difference it makes, Customs will not release any of these cars from port of entry until proper certifications are obtained in order to make their sale legal...
So sit back, put the lights on your holiday tree, and leave a space under it for your GT4 or Spyder! Santa has traded his sled and reindeer for a 4L flat 6 this Christmas!

p.s I am tempted to start a conspiracy theory that 718's are carriers of COVID-19 hence the hold at ports of entry!!!

My dealership is convinced the car will ship in a week or two and be delivered by November 11th. It still shows it in the computer with those dates.
Not surprising; my car is en route and will arrive to the Port of Houston on the 16th. Those are confirmed system dates...however V900 Dealer Inventory is 4 Dec. It’ll sit in port until V900.
To add another data point, I called my SA today and he confirmed that:
a. There was no delay to the production of my GT4 (MY2021 w/PDK)—Originally scheduled to finish production on 9/18. Car was built on schedule and is now at Emden waiting to exit port.
b. Car is estimated to arrive in the US port on 11/13, where it will likely be held until it can be released to the dealer just prior to sale
c. Sale cannot occur prior to 12/4

exactly - whatever happens prior to the car arriving at port of entry is irrelevant.
In the vein of more information is better than less....received a text from my SA today noting the 718 Base/T/S inventory/sale date has moved in the system from 31 Dec to 3 Nov.
I know, this has no bearing on the 4.0 cars that are embargoed until 4 Dec. Of course over on the 992 forum the date has moved w/in the last couple of days from 2 Oct to 9, then 16 Oct....this is something I hope to not go through.
Let's stay positive --- in the meantime I can check on the position of the Mediterranean Highway!

Now that the Glovis Crown has left Bremerhaven headed to Santa Marta, I emailed my SA to get confirmation for absolute sure that my car is on that boat so that I don’t track the wrong boat. He is out today, but hopefully will get back to me tomorrow with an updated screen print and we’ll see if anything has changed since Monday.

Good thing I don't have my SA cell or home number... I would call him at home, during dinner time, and ask "where is she?!?!" LOL. They really should provide a customer-facing portal for this!
