MY21 GT Cars Delayed?
I just heard from my SA that MY21 GT cars are delayed. My car was supposed to be in assembly this week but the current update is that It will go to assembly line on 10/9 and estimated delivery is 12/4
Anybody waiting for MY21 cars heard anything similar from your SA?
P.S. I think this also includes GTS 4.0 models.

Hmmm, I hope not, this is the last update on my Spyder that I got from my SA:
* Goes into production on the 28th
* Should be out of production about 9/11
* Leaves Germany for the Port on the 18th
* Ships out on the 2nd of October
* Should arrive mid-November

My delivery date is 12/4 for a GTS 4.0 My car has either already frozen of is just about to. Production in first week of October, about the same time as yours. This was the latest news as of last Monday.

My original fix date V250 was 9/11 so I thought I would ask ahead of that if there was anything I needed to do. I contacted my SA and got back that all was good and that it had locked early on 9/2. I also got updated dates and the expected dates had pulled left a week. All of these dates in the Porsche system are Friday dates (except the actual dates). I decided to look at the Emden schedule to see if there was any chance of catching an earlier ship if the date was earlier. There are two ships that load in Emden in Sept 8-9th that would get to Huston by Oct 9th. I doubt my car makes that.. I know Onsabruck is only 2-3 hour drive from Emden but the car would have to be built by the 15th to have any chance. More likely, it will get on the Siem Cicero on the 5/6th of October and get to Huston by Oct. 26th. That matches the expected Friday dates on the Porsche printout.
So, there could be something that happened in the last 2-3 days but otherwise, I think things are still moving.

It’s been known for NA that all 2021s are on port hold/stop sale until 12/4... Nothing can happen until this date.

My car was originally set to lock on Sept 2, however it locked on 7/30. It hit v250 on Monday, and hit v300 yersterday, 9/11. It is due to arrive in Emden on the 18th, and to arrive in Benicia on 11/6. However, from there it is not expected in dealer inventory until 12/4. I live about 1/2 mile from the dealer, and can drive to Benicia in a couple of hours, so I don’t know how that can be right unless they plan on having someone push it here from the port.

My SA gave me an update on Wednesday and my Spyder actually went into production on Sept 1 three days earlier than expected. Unless something happened this week I'm hoping my car will arrive in PECLA by mid-November.

From what I was told, it the on sale date for certification... nothing more. It has been known since last Spring... via dealer memo.

Well I’ve asked my dealer 3 times specifically about this Rennlist rumor; he doesn’t know anything about it. Would seem if a dealer memo was released it would have been posted or confirmed on here.
Lots has changed since spring. Hopefully this is one of them; my car is entering production Wednesday.
