Great shots, love the hood and stripes over the roof, suspect they continue out back? So was the hood wrapped in CF film?

Xpel clear PPF as first layer, then matte black vinyl overtop with colour matched (to wheels) aurum vinyl pinstripes. ...and yes it continues onto the rear hatch in same pattern as roof. Nothing on the wing other than the clear PPF.

Haha, wouldn’t have made it from the driveway if they were. Put the snow tires on last week with the upcoming forecast. Agree on enjoying the fall pics before this. It is much too early, but figured what the hell, might as well go drift around this morning.

Always curious what tires people choose for non-summer, what did you go with?

Please don't judge me, these tires were leftovers from my 991.2 GTS, and was all that was available at the time last year. 305/30R20 Pirelli winter Sottozero 3, 245/35R20 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4. I had a successful winter last year running this setup. I hope to repeat the same.

No judging, both are great (true) winter tires, in fact I had Pirelli Sottozero Serie II on my previous GTS, amazing traction in snow and decent performance on the dry pavement, I would say that you are set!

I think only by judging behavior can we help each other! I'm pretty sure the Pirellis--although in slightly smaller sizes--are the winter tires for my 991.2. They worked great last winter, although we didn't get a ton of snow.

God bless,
TT

what do you think of 305 on rear wheels?
From looks and grip perspective?

I really want to see a true 305 as well, but to me it looks the same as the OEM 295 rear. I feel this tire in 305 really does mount closer to a 295. Not sure if this is Pirelli in general, a snow tire thing, or this specific tire. As far as grip, I think it is really good. It definitely loses some if you accelerate too quickly, but traction control helps modulate that. I drove around on freeway and city streets yesterday for probably a little over an hour, and not once felt uncomfortable. We got a total of 5" and 2" melted. I even was stopped on a couple of our bigger hills here at a stoplight, and it grabbed traction right away. With the low clearance of the GT4, I think is going to be a bigger issue when ice chunks from slush buildup start to drop.
