I'm guessing that GPF delete pipes with permanent AS/S and cylinder deactivation OFF should be plenty of 4.0 sound goodness for most people. Plus maybe some lighter, better flowing mufflers, if necessary. Those are obscene prices for an exhaust system.
Thanks for sharing... This picture below says it, I can't believe that he didn't simply remove the muffler, no fighting with the studs on the GPF, more room to work... I watched and at one point he say "two hours later..." both him and his helper can be seen cursing a from banged hands!
It is a good watch to get an idea if you are planning a DIY installation.

Ha! Come on....no way is he going to remove the rear muffler for easy access when he has an excuse to bust out the big boy tools. Bet he walks around with one of these in his pocket.......

Sad to say it was an exercise on not what to do. I also can't imagine taking the wheels off without the use of the two guides to avoid chipping the PCCB's.
BC Fabs have a very clever rear section design and they actually build race car exhausts. Sounds nasty for only a rear section. You should hear their aventador one...

No this is a totally different design. BC Fabs has 2 different diameter paths which are unique to JCR. The valves closed path is a mini straight pipe that dumps 90 degrees to the larger x pipe outlet near the exhaust tip (this placement is an important differentiator).
They also have bottle resonators in the valves open path.
Jcr is the opposite. Valves closed path has resonators and merges with the x pipe,
valves open path uses the helmholtz resonator tubes and no silencers.
They are both valved x pipes with completely different design. The anti- resonance strategy is unique to each system. BC fabs relies more on tube diameter and outlet placement for the valves closed path. Whereas JCR use a helmholtz resonator tube that comes off the 2 inlets to the muffler(looks like its fused to both paths). Its good to have options IMO. Keep manufacturers honest and come up with different strategies

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" as they say. It's extremely irritating to see it happen but inevitable as we're the company that they and many other small operations look up to. They copied our rolled tips and silenced tips like for like but the system is quite different in reality. I see Dundon has had their 991 header system copied in the far east, it sucks to see!
In any case, no silencers and no cylinder mixing in the 'valves closed' route and silencers in the 'valves open' position certainly makes for an 'interesting' design feature.
Companies like these guys tend to come from no where claiming all sorts of wonderful things, make a ton of noise online before quickly going quiet due to selling minimal product and eventually disappear.
I'd give them 6 months or so before the latter occurs.
