As some of the other replies have suggested, I'm a +1 for supplementing this with the Interior Trim in Leather in Interior Color i.c.w. Leather Interior option, to get rid of the plasticky silver strip, which just muddies the color palate. Otherwise I think it looks great with Agate Grey.

I know that the GTS style is blackened out trim, but I do think a silver GTS4.0 in silver for the doors would be an attractive option on darker colored 718 4.0s... just saying.....

That's pretty close. It's a beautiful burgundy red, not bright at all.

For those in the US, these should start getting built soon. I got my SA to send my the build schedule and it shows my Cayman GTS 4.0 having a planned date of 9/11 to enter the body shop (V260) and 9/25 for vehicle complete (V300). It will still take a while to get to the US and to the dealer inventory - 12/4.

Yep, my SA gave me a freeze date of Sept 7 for a Dec. 4th delivery also. I am going in to the dealer next week with the final configuration, do not want to wait to long on that freeze date! I would imagine that your GTS4.0 is going into the body shop a bit before mine and they will both come over on the same carrier.
Greg-What color?

My freeze date is Sept 9th for a Dec 4th delivery. I'm heading to my SA tomorrow to make another change. The wait is torture.

Congratulations to all of you! My 718 GT4 doesn't freeze until early November with delivery to dealer late January.

God bless,
TT

I am STILL not sure which of 2 colors I want, this may come down to a coin toss over the weekend.....OR maybe 2 out of 3 coin flips!

Greg, great choice! I just sold my 2015 Cayman S in the same color. To be honest I kind of wish the GTS 4.0 door decal was available in silver, although I realize the GTS trim is usually black...

I just ordered a 718 GTS 4.0 this morning. Don't have confirmation of dates yet; SA thinks freeze of early September and delivery in November, but I bet it will be December before I see it. I have to give them my 981S on Monday and will be Porscheless until then. I bought an existing car in 2016 so I haven't had the pleasure of the wait yet. Hope it isn't as interminable as Covid. For anyone that cares, build code is PMF3QZJ6.
