I don't think they work very well together. I don't like how the Bordeaux pairs with darker colors. If they changed it to a Guards Red I think that could pair with the darker colors much better.

Can someone please run this build on their visualizer and post pics of the interior if the Lizard stitching is showing?

http://www.porsche-code.com/PMXQ2TL8

The base configurator doesn't show any of the deviated stitching options and none of my laptops, tablets, and cell phones can run the visualizer. Also comments on the build are welcome. What's the diff between "Deviated Stitching Interior Package" and "Extended Deviated Stitching Interior Package"? Thx much in advance!

Same for this one with Espresso leather and Luxor Beige stitching. (The closest build I can get to my current GT Silver 987 Box S with Natural Brown Leather):

Thx much!

I answered the very same question for JSF101 in this thread: post #613

Got called for a December delivery and I passed. Hoping to do a European Delivery trip for my first new Porsche. Maybe spring will allow that...

I thought about the GB with Black/Chalk, but I wonder how just the Deviated Leather Seat Centers look in Chalk (under Seat Centers and Stitching) . $560 alternative to the black and chalk (2500). Configurator will not show it when selected however.

And I also keep on flirting with the idea of PTS. I don't love Aventurine Green, wife hates Python. Irish/Brewster/BRG would be great, but then I'm spending 10% of a car's value on paint, which seems silly. I should just go with Carmine and call it a day.

I think that my Agate Grey/Black-Bordeaux Red config looks pretty good. I saw this combo on a 991 and it looks great.

Yes, this is a beautiful combo. The former editor of Car and Driver magazine has it on a 991.2 Carrera and it looks fabulous. But you might consider something other than the shiny metal trim...leather, exterior color or brushed aluminum, for example...because there are reports that the shiny metal can be blinding at times. I have leather trim and it's wonderful.

God bless,
TT

I'm a fan of the two-tone interiors particularly with the darker color on the dash. Had agate/amber two-tone in my traded-in 981 CGTS which I loved (agate exterior). My wife's Macan GTS has the black/red two-tone and looks similar to what you have with Volcano Grey exterior and looks amazing.

That combo does look hot on the Boxster too. Thx for suggesting it. I didn't like Porsche's previous red interiors (Garnet, etc.) -- just too loud. Bordeax looks like it's a bit darker and more subdued. Maybe have to check it out in real life. A concern may be that the three reds are all different (calipers, leather, top):

This —^ especially with the black/red interior. The metal trim looks ok with some colors. Not with others. Here’s my Agate with two-tone interior but with leather trim.

My wife had a '95 Aventurine Green 993 Cab - she loved the color and I was so-so:

Looks to me that the Bordeaux is not clearly represented in the configurator. Seem's much darker there than in the last photo by worf928. That pic looks closer to garnet. Is that Bordeaux? Does anyone have actual pics of the Bordeaux?

That's because it IS garnet. Bordeaux is darker. You can find contrasting pics on the 991 forum.

The purpose of my post was not about the shade of red but the leather trim instead of the bright trim.
