Same place as they are now. Enough air is getting to the engine already. From the GT4CS we learned that is the lower temps they are after. The air from the side intakes is hotter than if you pick it up a couple of feet higher.

yeah, I know about the issue with AIT, this intake system started life as an upgrade to CSs to address this issue....you know, this might might work as the current filters are located just behind those storage spaces. Some clever plumbing from the intake down and a 90 degree to the filters.

These vents are getting bigger from early days.. clearly to try to add more airflow to engine compared with their original design. Name: photo862.jpg

If the engine was in front it would get much more air-flow.

If it had just 2 wheels it could lean into turns more.

Look more closely at the newest photos of the car with center locks (the one you posted is a 5-lug car). The front fenders are definitely wider and have stealth tape covering what looks like front vents (similar to 3RS vents) and black vinyl covering the likely gap between the wider fender and the door.

I note too that the wing in this latest interation is bigger and different shape compared to the earlier runner. I don’t recall such large evolutions in GT cars during testing before. I wonder if we are looking at the same car or a possible variation. Will be interesting to see if the earlier iteration car reappears in testing.

I wonder given the two separate sets of wheels and aero configurations if one is a Weissach package car? I only hope the GT4RS is available with 5 lug in some configuration!

Weissach package would make good marketing sense and allow Porsche to hedge with a lower cost standard RS car.

I would love to see a 5-lug and manual transmission car! However, PDK-only could be the case given the precedence.

Interesting thought. Maybe you're on to something.

Any updated predictions on pricing?
Auto prices right now are high in general, because production has been down due to the virus.
I want one if my budget allows.

In this thread numerous times. All over the place and with and without ADM. Take your pick.
