So how are those front fender slashes fairing with abuse from the front wheels? It looks like the folded in flange will get absolutely thrashed.

Actually...no damage so far even with track use. The debris mostly get shot at a a lower angle down the side of the car. Rear section behind lower intake still received the bulk of hits.

it's actually the original RS logo

Although he is quite witty … I’m not sold on his review …
but that’s my slightly bias view … 😌

That is why they are late to the party and not in the first batch.

Jay Emm review seems incredibly windy and overly focuses his negativity on weird things...

eg: The Weissach badge on the dash? Really? That needs to be complained about?

I mean he clearly does not fit comfortably into the car, *that* is a more than valid reason for him personally to not be thrilled with it, but doesn't apply to most.... Nor is it even mentioned.

My good buddy has a 430 Scud. I have the 4RS. We love each other's cars and both want both! If the Porsche drove like a 12 year old Ferrari, he would be complaining about that a lot more than the way it is... and the 4RS has plenty of theatre. But you can drive it on auto with the exhaust off and it's pretty quiet (under 80 mph). That said, I'm not sure he understands GT cars - especially the RS variants. They are not meant as daily drivers. They ARE meant for back roads and track days. I'm not sure Jay has ever done a track day... so he's right. It's not for him.

These were two interesting videos back to back. I think his main video came out the way it did because he knows how good the car is but is not happy with the above MSRP pricing. He is normally an impartial reviewer giving honest reviews. And I think that is why his friend tries to correct with the second review.

Prediction by UK SA that production of GT4RS stops around April 2024. 40 for UK so far so perhaps another 30 for UK.
When he drove a friends GT4RS in the Italian Alps he thinks the GT4RS is probably his favorite sports car of all time.

that figure is way off and total nonsense. There will be way more than that in the Uk. I’m on a Uk based WhatsApp group of 4rs owners and there are 40 of us already. No way we represent all the owners. I’d say 2 / 3 times that.

Not sure how off that info could be....He is actually mentioning that 40 so far and another 30, that sounds reasonable.
The GM at my dealer said that at a recent meeting GT4RS will be tapering off and he expects a lot less than 2023 models. He received 7 in 2023 and so far nothing confirmed for 2024.
