I like this a lot! I have a 4 RS in very similar spec and was thinking of upgrading from the older generation decals to something like this!

BACK UP CAMERA on while moving forward. Question:

Something new to me in the attached video. At the 7:00 timestamp the driver stops backing up but the reverse camera remains on for at least 20 seconds while he is moving forward in a parking lot. It might have stayed on longer but that is where it was edited to a new scene.
Question: Can we use the reverse camera while moving forward by using a setting that is built into the PCM? It would really help in knowing what is going on behind while driving forward with the rear wing blocking the view from the rear view mirror.

(I can not answer my own question even though my car has been photographed at the factory on Feb 16, with step 05/11 (finish manufacturing process) to be completed on Feb 17 has been moved out two times and is now April 4.)

It looks odd and I couldn't tell why until I realized that this is a 992 RS logo. I think the 991 "RS" logo goes better with 4RS as that's how the rests of the decals are. This 992 edition "RS" works well on 992 because that's how the 992 "RS" decals are on the rest of the car.

I have ordered a few additional sticker sets from my detailer; cheaper as design was already paid for
Willing to sell at Eur 399 / USD 399 incl postage

I have a set ready in black but can be created in any other color as this designer works regularly for Porsche

PM me for more details

Best,
Sander

Enjoyable video (a bit long though). I just don't get why the big difference in tyres they used between the GT3 and the RS. That's seconds per lap right there plus huge difference in turn-in feel which counters many of the points they make. All 3 cars great though.

Agree... Kind of sucks that they went through the trouble and expense to arrange for a 992 GT3 and rent Thunderhill, only to test the 4RS with a tires that are like two performance levels below the streetable competition tires on the GT3 and the wet-weather full-race tires on the GT4.

They said "long story"... Well the video was already long, seems like they could have explained a bit more on that critical detail.

Personal experience, I've driven my GT4-RS (Dunlop Race Maxx) and a friends 992 GT3 on the same section of very twisty road... Different? Sure. But none of that dead-zone feeling they described, and personally preferred the feedback on the 4RS.

In the comments they give more info on the GT4RS tire change:

Long story short it was 100% supposed to rain so we put on the Potenza’s which handle way better than cup 2’s in the wet. But then it luckily dried out for about 5 hours during that session but we didn’t have time to switch back…that said the potenza sports were surprisingly decent in the dry as well.
