Yeah I see what you’re saying in your post but it is still a guess. I’m happy either way really I just really wish they were black seat centers.
The stitching option says it will change the embroidered headrest stitching - that would mean it would mismatch the seat backs if they weren’t black. The mystery remains…
I find it hard to believe no one has got a delivery with extended deviated stitching yet. I’m just so curious for a concrete answer here. I found it odd even my SA didn’t know.
I have the answer ha ha....
I, too, thought I would get arctic grey and would have to change after market. I have deviated stitching interior and as much red options interior as possible. I was pleasantly surprised to see black inserts when my car came in!

Life saver! Thanks so much for this confirmation. It looks amazing!
Actually our specs look very similar. Car just swapped to V210 and should be delivered to SoCal area in early February. Fingers crossed!
Ruby star neo now shows on the configurator for the GT4 RS as a special color option, not PTS... thinking about it without WP...
As a possible stepping stone with my dealer to a GT4 RS, I got an allocation for a 718 CGTS 4.0, and RSN just popped up on the configurator and I plan to select it. To me, RSN is a better color for a GT4 RS than CGTS because the RS is obviously a more special car and it seems to me that RSN is best suited for an extraordinary car. Curious to hear people's thoughts on this.

Damn that looks fantastic!
I've been teetering on switching exterior from AG to GR, and combined with that black/deviated stitching interior, this might just push me in that direction!
Hard to tell from the pictures, did you also do Inner Door-Sill Guards in Leather with Deviated Stitching and Steering Column Casing in Leather with Deviated Stitching ? Anything you would add or delete now that you have the car in your hands?
So thankful for Thomti's post and the others who replied. It changed my build. I love bold colors.
For months I had a freeze date of Dec 2 on my GT4RS. In September I knew Ruby Star Neo was coming so I tried to change from Yellow to Ruby. But the configuator did not show Ruby and my SA could not do anything at that time.
On Nov 7 I got a warning email from Porsche that my freeze date was Dec 2 but possibly could change to be earlier.
On Nov 10 I left Porsche Palooza in Eureka Springs AR in pitch darkness at 730 PM which is earlier than I expected to depart since I did not want to get rain that night on my Peridot Cayman R I bought brand new. It has only been caught in the rain 4 times in my 11 driving seasons. This was likely my last mountain drive in my Cayman R since I plan to sell it once the GT4RS arrives.
I like daytime driving and it was difficult to see on the very twisty mountain roads in the dark with the base R headlights. I thought how nice it would be to have PDLS LED headlights on the GT4RS but knew that Porsche was only offering base headlights due to part shortages.
On Nov 16 I checked the configuator and saw that LED PDLS light were suddendly an option. Called my SA and he added this option right away, as freeze date was still Dec 2.
In the early AM of Nov 17 I noticed my order created date was Nov 17 and the freexe date was Nov 16. So I definately have LED PDLS headlights. V210 status.
Then I saw these Ruby Star posts this morning. Called my SA immediately, He got on his computer and said "GOOD. Box in upper right corner of screen is not filled in by Porsche yet so let me see. Yes it let me change to Ruby so there is a chance Porsche will allow this change even though the freeze date is past."
SA also got a pop up message from Porsche that Ruby Star Neo is not available until Dec 5. But my yellow config was not scheduled to start until Dec 16 (was Jan 13 until the freeze date moved up) so I hope I can get Ruby. SA is not promising I will get the car in Ruby but he is hopeful based on how the computer accepted the change this saturday morning. He will call me on Monday and let me know for sure.
Right now the build sheet shows Ruby and V100- Feasibilty Check Failed. Perhaps the Feasibility Check Failed because I called my SA a second time asking to also change the interior trim (cf dash and console) to match the exterior color for $0 and Porsche has not painted these interior carbon fiber pieces in Ruby yet?
Any opinions on the V210 to V100 build sheet status change?
Update Monday early AM Nov 21:
SA sent new build sheet showing I got Ruby Star Neo as exterior and also on interior trim per my desire. V100 code changed to V200 code and freeze date was changed from Nov 16 to Nov 30. Production build and finish dates remain the same at Dec 16 and Dec 23. But shipping and delivery dates move out to now come to dealer on Feb 10 rather than Jan 17? Happy to get what I wanted on the color changes even though freeze date was past.

Yes and yes! I wouldn't change anything. Note the air conditioning controls in painted guards red - love it!

I think you should get RSN if you really like it no matter which model you are ordering. I think it will draw a lot of attention and a lot of people coming up to you to ask questions and to admire it. People will take videos and photos when they are driving next to you. There may be a few haters, but ignore them.
I speak from experience since I got my Cayman R in Peridot color and it does draw lots of attention. 99% is positive. I did not worry about resale value when I got it 11 years ago.
And now that my GT4RS is about to come in I will likely sell the Cayman R, and based on research I have done Peridot is about the most desirable color for resale on a Cayman R. I think RSN on 718s may work out the same for those brave enough to order it..
Has anyone been able to get a sales brochure specifically for the GT4RS from their dealer? I asked my SA several times and he says if/when he gets one he will save it for me since I am this dealerships only allocation. I asked the Parts dept if they could order it and they said no it is handled thru the sales dept. My SA says Porsche just sends out brochures to thier dealership with no input from dealer regarding what is needed.
In 2011 when this dealer had a Cayman R in stock they also had a hardcover Cayman R sales brochure to give me before I agreed on a sale. Have things changed since 2011 or is it a parts shortage issue?

I have one in PDF format but not an actual, physical copy, and my dealer asked me not to post it anywhere but you may be able to obtain one from your dealer.

Can't see any reason this should be in anyway restricted, especially as it is a sales brochure..
