Only in a Porsche forum would a ~3000 lb 2-seat midengine sports car with 385hp be called "slow" or a "momentum car". Perspective I suppose. The irony is in your avatar photo.

I have often said the GT4 is the Miata of the Porsche world.

Drive the RS for around 500kms at Red Bull Ring.
Amazing car glorious sound.
Then jump to 992 GT3 for another 300 kms. Easier car to drive fast. Not sure why but makes me feel more confident to drive faster.
The RS is special for sure.
The GT3 is faster car for sure.
The limit is on the driver capabilities not the cars.

Thanks for the insight. I plan on tracking both my Touring and GT4RS. Are those the white gold mag wheels that I see on your car?

Not my car. I completed Master event for 2 days and was a loan car. The car had Weissach package therefore I believe has also Mag wheels.

4RS too loud inside of you're constantly driving above 4k rpm?

​​​​​​I'd say it's the multi link rear suspension that makes the GT3 feel a lot more planted & stable which gives you more confidence.

Yes that as well as the multi link rear, GT4RS doesn't have either.

How's the constant 4RS cabin sound when you're driving hard for long period of time, does it get tiring?

The sound of the car is amazing. Honestly sounds unique. Porsche obviously did a lot of R&D to make this happen. You have an engine just behind your head without any glass in between and a car screaming especially after 7K to 9K.
I drove the car with earplugs and helmet. I was fine. I believe it might be too lood to drive aggressive without helmet..

The confidence 992 gt3 gave me was amazing comparing to 4rs.
Best time with gt3 1.42.
Best time with 4RS 1.46.
Conclusion is that is you want to achieve your GT3 time with 4RS you need to fight hard. The car is more raw and needs better driving skills to go fast.
Same conclusion for other participants. You sweat more in the 4RS during hard lap times.

Conclusion is that these cars are made to drive fast at the track with superior capabilities. Always the limiting factor will be the driver and fear of high speed cornering.

I had a conversation with CMS about whether or not the existing 981 roll hopes will clear the air intakes. After looking at in person, my answer is YES, i do think 981/718 roll hoops will fit in the RS.
