I stuck two temp probes on my own car. 981 GTS with 3.8 X51 swap. Basically a clubsport. On track the temp starts off equal but then after half a lap or so the reading at the scoop starts to increase. After two laps it was reading 12 degrees C over ambient (the side window reading kept matching the dash temp pretty close)
I don't do Fahrenheit but that's the difference between a mild day and a really warm one. The radiators spill hot air into the wheel well which travels back straight into the scoops. Brakes also of course.
On the street you'll never load the car for long enough that it becomes an issue.
They didn't build that crazy intake contraption for the 718 CS MR for no reason...

Do you know how much the air temp creep reduced your top end by on straights on your gt4? I've paid attention to my turbo cars loss and it's quite hefty on one, about 10kph diff on a 160kphish straight between the first hot lap and the everything is on fire lap, but I'd expect NA power loss to be nothing like that, right?

I know PG sometime comes out darker like that (I have a PG GT4) but look closely and you will see it's a dark green....

Nope....it looks like colors used in the regular palette usually are never available as PTS.
They do offer nice options for greens on the 718 platform...this time I went a little different but stayed within the family of greens.

Does anyone have any information about which colors are available as PTS for the GT4 RS?
Or if it is the same as for all 718 shown in Porsches online configurator?
