I guess sanctions are prohibiting auto sale in Russia now. So maybe that supply gets diverted back into Europe.
Fingers crossed cooler heads eventually prevail here. I worked in the Ukraine for a few years in the 2000's, and loved the land. Had Ukrainians and Russians on my team and it was a great atmosphere with fantastic technical debate. Insanely clever people and great engineers. Highest respect for all of them. They had moved on from the past.
My heart and more goes out to Ukraine and its very brave people. We want the very best for them.
My new Porsche (or lack of my order getting filled) is of no importance to me in comparison to what is happening to Ukraine and its people.
Probably has already been shared.... I spoke with a friend who races a 718 GT4 CS in one of the series, and now also in pikes peak. They said Porsche Motorsports is requiring a multi-year commitment to two series in order to get a RS CS. More of a commitment than they can make.
