Doesn't benefit from rear wheel steer like the 911 does. I don't think any mid-engined car has it.

Since the new engine is fed air through the side windows, what purpose do the inlets behind the doors serve? Anyone have any ideas? Cooling engine compartment, cooling rear brakes?

No body is talking about how the air scoop at the rear quarter windows will make checking blind spot difficult if not possible...

Those are strictly for engine compartment cooling now.

Your GT3 will be great currency to use as a trade should you wish to "upgrade" to the GT4 RS. :-)

If you care abt lap times, I think with this engine and layout, GT4RS may be easily tuned to be faster than GT3, maybe 265 front tyres are just enough.
If you don't actually care about lap times, I think the unique sound alone may be enough for you to pay the bill, let alone all the other cool features.

The Lambo V10 and V12 mid-engine models have rear steer…

Default Roll bar/cage

Question so why does the US not allow them? Is this still happening?

The US allows them if they’re padded (been done fairly recently with a special BMW model), but Porsche is afraid of the litigious nature of this market.

Interesting find in the std equipment listing. Its not an option in the configurator but wouldn't it be something for getting rid of the wart if it is possible to delete.

Dreaming of getting an allocation. If I could ever get one at MSRP, this would be my pick at a $151,240. I like the black because more subtle and less busy.
