By next week my GT4 will have the following for track set-up:

BBI Cup Suspension Goodies
BBi Swift Spring Kit
BBi steal brake lines
Apex Track Wheel 9"F & 11" Rear on 19" on Hoosier R7's
DSC Module
JCR Full Monty - Header, Race Cats and Race Pipe exhaust (Huge Difference in power but best sounding flat 6 now which is more important to me)

Only $20k when all said and done with labor and tax so I doubt new GT4RS will touch my GT4 now and it would cost me an extra $50K to have a 4RS with ADM on top of retail price and tax is my best guess at this point. I sold my 3RS to cover fertility $$$ for my family and reduce my track liability since I have 3 kiddos now and I to be honest I don't really miss my 3RS that much. The motor was special and the car was special but when I am at the track and ripping laps in the 4, I am still smiling just as much and I love my new toy account from all the extra money left over from my 3RS sale. $/Smile GT4 > 3RS so far in my experience. If my ego can't handle the reduced lap times in the 4, then I will be calling BGB or Deman to upgrade. LOL who am I kidding, once warranty on motor is gone, I am for sure sending them my car! LOL

You're correct; no allocations have been assigned (as of last week).

That said, dealer allocations will be based, not on their overall sales of Porsches, but rather on the number of 718s they have sold. My dealer anticipates a better-than-average GT4 RS allocation due to their having sold substantially more 718s than the average US dealer.

Finally some people are coming to realized there's not a lot of upgrades PAG will do (for sooo many reasons) for the $$$$ you will have to shell out...my advise, get a GT4 PDK and do the upgrades. Unless you really need that RS badge.

Especially if PAG will force the PITA CLs onto this car.

yup, one of the reasons I have no interest in the RS. Center locks just make swapping wheels more annoying.

On a German forum a member who builds track cars is suggesting to swap the possible RS CL hubs with the hubs from the GT4CS. Not sure why regular hubs wouldn't work except for the build in studs to that one. But also not sure if the bearings and what else would be involved for the change over.

I don't think the CS hubs work with the roadcar brake calipers. Different bolt spacing most likely as the RS brakes look the same as on the regular GT4.

My thoughts as well. But you know Erich over there.

I hope this is not the end product, the swan neck looks very afterthought compared with the 992 GT3.

It's also missing the side rear glass vents and 3RS front louvres. I'd have expected a more aggressive rear bumper as well (more aligned to 992 GT3) than being an identical copy of the current GT4.

On gt3s my understanding is you can just swap hubs and bearings and there is no issues using normal 991 hubs/bearings, and that legitimately is all you need. I think they are press in bearings not hub assemblies so that makes it a very annoying swap as you're removing the knuckles on all 4 corners, and also makes it so you can't put it back to factory without probably needing to buy 4 new bearings.

No idea why they'd recommend the gt4cs stuff. you're probably right its all about having the studs on them. Wheel bolts never bothered me, but I much prefer changing a 5 dollar stud than a $500 hub if some retard doesn't know how to mount wheels (happened to me on my bmw last winter when i bought new winter tires, fortunately they only destroyed one hub. Always a good sign when the tech tells you there is something wrong with your wheels because they're really hard to get on, and you see fresh metal shavings everywhere lol)
