In addition to this, Porsche ensures the Nordschleife lap times are slower for the Cayman than the 911 and that is their benchmark for performance. This is important because of the many advantages the GT3 has for the Nord, such as the double wishbone suspension, rear wheel steering, the longer wheelbase for increased stability, the rear engine, ( likely ) more downforce and less drag. The 4RS platform would simply have too many disadvantages to get close to a 992 GT3 lap time even with 500hp. If I had to guess it won't even get close, and it will probably be somewhere in the 7:10s or 7:05 at the lowest if going by the old Nord record config. This would mean the 992 GT3 is still at least 10 seconds faster than the 4RS. Not to mention they may once again lengthen the gearing for the same reasons they have before, which would also make sense considering the increased torque and power. Even if they didn't do this, it still has longer gearing than the GT3. The only thing I can't see is the 4.0L from the GT3 happening. If I had to guess, they'll steal parts from the GT3 4.0L like the crankshaft, oiling system, pistons, etc and put them in the GT4 4.0L to eventually make around 500PS.
With that power and a couple of mods, the GT4 would be faster on most tracks.

This is why we won’t see 500hp!

Suspect.

Unlikely 4RS will match GT3 power output.

450, yes

500, low probability

As others have mentioned, we should be expecting something along the lines of the 997.1 RS.

Unless, this is a true midengine ICE swan song.

The largest ever difference was 25 PS - between the 991.1 models...

That is very interesting if those numbers are accurate. I would not have thought that the GT4 would have a longer wheel base than the bigger GT3.

Downforce plays a role here too, as far as high speed stability is concerned. While longer wheel bases and wider track increases stability, shorter wheel based and track width cars car bridge that delta with downforce, at the expense of top speed and drag, but it can be done.

Numbers are accurate and this delta has been the case since the 987 and 997 cars.

Last piece of information he communicated is the price:170-180k euros. Let's see what really happen in the coming months!

The problem with France is that they upped their taxes galore on cars. Therefore his comments are not applicable to the rest.

Apparently, it would be 170/180k euros without additional taxes related to CO2 ( which are currently up to 30k and which will be up to 40k in 2022)
