I agree with this....most of the GT cars I see around are loaded with options that, at least for me, are totally unnecessary and almost sure they were picked because of dealer recommendation or looks....loading GT cars with options can swing both ways when it's time to sell, if you are after the resale value thing.

There's been no official announcement that such a car will be sold. At the moment, it's mostly speculation (but that didn't stop me from placing deposits on them as long ago as 2015 and again in 2018).

Nope. Expect 992 GT3 launch first. We are a ways off from the 4RS

So it's likely that a weissach pack would cost very similar amount to what it does on 3RS, unless they decontent it with less items (remove magnesium wheels for example).

I see GT4RS coming in at around $125k.. ~20% more than GT4, and about half as much again to GT3 base price. Key will be to order it without any frilly options so that it retains a good value for buyer where they get a good updated engine and suspension bits but don't get lost specking it up hoping to create some Uber-PTS overly specced car ..

I've heard it won't be numbered, they want to see these used on actual tracks, that's what they're building it. It's just a GT4CS you can register and drive home, not some 911R little brother. I hope the "value" conversation never ever ever comes to light with this car. It should be tracked, modified, depreciated, enjoyed, held or sold.. but never "collected" or speculated with. Enough GT2RS owners grimacing on this forum as they try to sell cars they never intended to drive.. lessons learned hopefully.

After experiencing GT4CS and getting completely smitten by how fun it was, This will be my first PDK car.
The GT4RS will become my new track b1tch, can't wait. Screw the value, I want smiles and personal best lap times!

I think the release the 992 GT3 in 1Q 2021 (US deliveries 3Q/4Q 2021) and I hope they release the GT4RS before the end of 2021.

Sales start 27 of January in Europe for the 992 GT3. And I'm sure it is market dependent, but first cars should arrive May / June here. Still no firm allocation numbers to dealers here, and as per usual supply will be tight throughout 2021.

I think we should see the GT4RS before end of 21.

them I suggest a DeMan or BGB 4.5L conversion with all the goodies to go so you don't torture yourself with all this waiting.......hey John at BGB can even do a conversion to PDK or just get a 718 CS and do the same thing

Debating do I buy a GT4 now (or more specifically submit a build to dealer have it built - which is then prob 3/4 months out) or if its only another 3-4 months further to get a RS should wait

And likely won’t be easy to find an allocation if you aren’t on a list already.

From what I've seen the allocation craziness is over on these cars - I got multiple GT4 build offers within 12 hours of looking
