Thanks! I'm through PCNT.

If your dealer got anything, it would've been last week. This round got builds for April/May. Chances are one final round might remain for June/July builds and that should be it for MY2023. This is pure speculation, of course...

Still, a dealer spec car, versus spec'able build. To some people, an important distinction. I have no dog in this hunt, as I don't plan to sell my car, except post mortem.

I feel the same. I am only willing a $15k ADM on my Spyder that is arriving next month since I was able to spec it exactly the way that I want it. Plus, I also personally value being the 1st owner. I know some people don't care about these two issues which is fine. Just important to me.

It is interesting to see how this plays out. The above poster sure enough did find at least one on finder.porsche.com below MSRP, and from what I could see it was a CPO car in a very nice spec.

If there's one there will be many more.
Cars on "finder" don't necessarily include ADM. My local dealer (I recently moved 800 miles and have a new local dealer with no relationship yet) had a 2021 CPO Macan GTS on their lot. It was listed on their website, and in the finder, at ~$6k under new MSRP. Get to the dealer and there's a $10k fee added to it via a handwritten piece of paper on the windshield - ultimately putting the price of a 2 year old, 5k mile Macan GTS at $4k over it's new MSRP.

everyone has an opinion. mine is based on the fact that the ADM was north of $75k just a couple months ago and now there are reports (in this very thread) of $5k-$20k. if the demand was still there why would dealers (in general) be dropping $50k-70k of profit? the dealer that called me offered $30k over which is $40k less than i was previously quoted 9 or so months ago. a stripped base model gt4 for ~$140k? i guess it's better than $180k but I can think of a few other vehicles in that price range i would be interested in.

Someone asked $75k over for a GT4?!?!?!!? lol You don't mean 4RS? That's a new one on me. $30k was the very high end I had heard previously, with $25k seeming to be the gt4/spyder average ADM for quite a while.

Anecdotally I've heard people pay 50K over for a standard GT4... twice... whether it's that 000 one I wouldn't know

Wow, the market is (was?) hotter than I thought. Is that an “end of availability” $40k, or it’s been that way for them for a while?

Not sure really. When this allocation popped up literally the day I went in to look at a couple of used (Spyder/GT4), I wasn't on any list. I laughed and said I'd do $15k over...he laughed and said he'd talk to the GM. The next morning he called offered it to me. GM wanted $30...I YOLO'd and settled for 20K...which over the course of watching this...seems to be about average. I haven't seen anything more than $40k or less than $10k.

Edit: sry GT4 allocation

i do not know your history of interaction with dealers in the beginning of the year so i can't say that is a lie but it is certainly not the experience i had. YMMV

i called 12 dealers from mid-decemebr '21 through march '22, mostly in my state, 3 in a neighboring state and 2 across the country.

of those that would sell to me (some out of state said no dice) all required $5k-$20k deposits to get on waitlists except for one who added me to the list for free (the one who called last week); none came with a promise of an allocation or a time frame but were refundable.

markup ranged from $35k to $75k with 2 being at $75k and one (the one who called) at $70k. most were at $50k.

i love all the porsches i have had but i am not willing to spend that much over just to buy another toy that i can play with 7-8 months of the year

That's nutty. They must have been fishing with someone from out of state (since they didn't want to sell out of state anyway?) Regardless...zowie! lol

I am going to go make another sacrifice to the MSRP gods in gratitude!
