I reached out to a Porsche dealership yesterday on a used GT4 they had listed. They informed me that it was sold, but they had a GT4 build able allocation with an April ish delivery. $50K mark up. It was a pass for me. Anyone interested in an almost $200K GT4?!?

ah didn't realize you were going to do ED, then yeah timing is more important then.

Porsche Norwell? They are the only dealer I ever heard with an ADM that high on a GT4.

Surprisingly Porsche of Hickory in Hickory, NC. I thought they were going to say $10-$15K? I was ready to roll. $50K is just disgusting and gross.

Give the broker a shout from this thread. ADM you note above may be achievable

That is pretty surprising. I was going to guess a dealer in a big market, and even then 50k over is insane. I'd offer them $15k over at best, but I'm guessing they won't go for that with an ask of 50k over (not that they're going to get that or anything close).

Yeah Gt4 you can get 15k over if you look hard enough. Gt3 50k, gt4rs 40k and gt3rs is still pie in the sky havent heard anything under 6 figures myself lol

EDIT: I actually think 992 gt3rs will be sticker once over half of them land, so probably 18 months from now...its just shocking how even more unreasonable and unusable the new one is. Def be patient on that one if you want it. I would bet my gt4 those adm's shrink to literally 0 especially given the climate right now.

Money is drying up faster than 2008

Wow, I suck at buying GT cars! I haven't found a GT3 near 50K over or a GT4RS near 40K over even with my 718 GT4 trade in.

I swear if u walk into a dealer in person, you'll get surprisingly different quotes than calling.

I think it has something to do with what I was told awhile back from a BMW GM telling me, "you don't wan to be the guy (dealer) that drops the market on an "in demand" car"....so if no one knows about it, dealers will be more generous lol

Got any intel you want to share? I've been to every dealership in Texas in person (two of which I have bought cars from), and 5 in other states and still no joy.

Porsche Riverside says they have a GT4 allocation, but only for in-state buyers. They also have an incoming GT4 with a bare bones spec. The sales guy tried to make a case for me because I am living locally in CA, but moving back to my home in CO in a few months so it would be registered there. We didn't discuss ADM after I got rejected by the local sale preference. Just thought I'd let people in SoCal know.

Well, if anyone knows of a GT4 allocation for $10k over, I have a really nice 981 GT4 looking to trade in on one.

If you're in CA, these dealers wont really do out of state for the most part.

Electron Mike, I do remember Porshe Austin on the north side when I lived there to be the worst dealer of all time for getting and ordering Porsches. Bafoon pricing

@Range 44, make enough calls and you'll find one. Probably better to try and get an extra 5-10k on private market and then pay 15 or 20 over, if u were in CA I know that is very very doable. imo sell your 981 t4 like yesterday, and pick up a 718 gt4 order in early jan.....Dealers are SUPER slow in this period every year as everyone blew too much money over christmas lol

OR, just call 5 dealers around u and ask them what the best price they would give for ur car, take the best offer and tell them you'll take that if they give u a new one for 0-10k over.

BUT! At this moment I think Porsche dealers are going to gouge you on trade ins as they know where this porsche market is headed right now. I mean my 718 22 gt4 will lose 30k in value over the next 12 months easily imo. I just dont care, and thats better than the 100k hit 992 gt3's are going to take lol

Appreciate the advice. Definitely not selling my 981 GT4 without a 718 on the ground. Can't imagine not having a GT4 in the garage. Plus would like to take advantage of the tax savings with the trade.

This... but it's kind of justified. I didn't have an amazingly cool trade like a GT car, just a 718 GTS. But I was shocked at what the trade in offer was... but it's not like cars are flying off dealer lots as fast as they hit inventory either.

ADMs may go away soon, but so will good trade values.
