I think 10k over could be had with some luck and effort. You are probably unlikely to find any handouts on the forums, as there are several people seeking allocations. Brokers are posting GT4s from 17.5-22.5k over from what I've seen.
Your best bet is to hit the phones/emails and hammer as many dealers as you can. See what dealers have an allocation that isn't claimed or that someone recently bailed on. Maybe you can sweet talk your way into 10k over (or less with some required add ons, like PPF/ceramic/maintenance plan, etc). Good luck!

Haha you're not wrong about that. I've travelled to the U.S 4 times to holiday, met plenty of nice people, but their knowledge of our country was very limited. There was a consistent theme though, they all thought everything is trying to kill you over here....I guess we can thank the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin for that

After one and a half years of waiting, finally got a Spyder allocation today! Christmas came early 
April build. No PTS sadly… Maybe that will change - nothing seems certain with these builds anymore, lol.
Edit: located in Canada. MSRP (we don't have direct ADMs but dealers get creative with that. I'm fortunate to have a relationship with my store).

I have given up the GT4 after waiting for one for 1 year. Switched lane to the Carrera T, and broaden my search to a neibouring province, and managed to get a T allocation instead. March build. Waiting for to hear back if ED is a possibility (Possibly June I was told)

Thank you! The Carrera T was my backup plan as well if I didn’t grab an allocation this weekend as it appeared Canada got their last round of MY2023 builds in the past few days.
Luckily it all panned out at the 11th hour. After all this wait I’ve decided to go all out on the build, and with Euro Delivery to cap off the entire purchase experience.
