I think at this point you need to call every dealer you can, speak to random sales associates and see if there are any you can snag with an ADM. There have to be people out there changing their mind or switching to other cars. It's just going to take a lot of effort to find them last minute, but start closest to you and work your way out. While you're doing this you might be able to give specs for a CPO option as well and have the dealer call you if one becomes available.

I wouldn't email because it's probably going to go to someone that will just tell you no because they're not sure and nothing shows up on inventory.

 

You do know the model was discontinued and the remaining MY23 allocations were distributed awhile back?

I had ordered my Cayman GTS 4.0 in July 2022 with Porsche of Fremont, received the allocation in January 2023 and just got word on the completion of production. Expected to receive on June 5th. Super excited!
Specs: Manual transmission, Aventurin Green, Almost no additional options

 

Yea unless some random allocations pop up, I'm pretty much out. I have a TON of people for GT4 allocations but haven't had a changeable build on hand in a few weeks.

 

Are you seeing more people reach out to you for GTS 4.0 allocations now?

Or does it seem like people are shopping used or looking at different cars instead.

 

I have been getting demand for GTS4.0. I can likely still get those and GT4RS as well at this point.

 

So now with the GT4 and Spyder dead, what is the consensus regarding the availability of allocations for the GTS 4.0? Do we think there will be more slots? What about the GT4 RS - any more slots for that?

 

I have GT4RS allocations on hand. I have a few GTS4.0 allocations available as well.

 

Well GTS 4.0 is being made for the 2024 model year (and same with 4 RS), so yeah there will be more allocations coming for both those models.

 

I should probably preface I don't want to spend a huge ADM for either car.

 

I've had GTS4.0 allocations for 5-10k over MSRP

 

I was able to find MSRP cayman and boxster gts 4.0 allocations about 2 to 3 weeks ago. It required 2 days of contacting various dealerships.

 

Wonder if things have changed now since GT4/Spyder is confirmed gone.

 

Just to clarify all the places initially wanted ADM, but I was able to talk two down to MSRP for a Cayman and a Boxster. Ended up going with the Cayman.

 

With so much demand for the Cayman GTS would love to know how that conversation went.
