Dealer Allocation Tracker

just got a confirmed allocation for 22 Spyder - June Production.
Interestingly,, I noticed that the MSRP on Track Your Dream is slightly more expensive than the confirmed build. I wonder if they are building in a price increase?

Is the build you're seeing on TYD 100% accurate? If you changed your original spec, it may take TYD some time to update, but I'd ask your SA for your build sheet to make sure it's 100% correct.

If so, it’s likely the gas guzzler tax. Happened to my build.

The price MSRP you pay is locked in on your Porsche Build Sheet-Retail you should have received.
What was the delta? Delivery charge perhaps?

If you look at the itemized total, as raymort mentioned, most likely the addition of the gas guzzler tax….

Yes, I am still pinching myself.
While I have a relationship with the dealership (service department), I had not purchased either of my P-cars from them. However, I had kept in touch with the SA, as I had gone to test drive a GT3 that I was interested in at the time, but did not buy.
When I wanted to place an order for the Spyder earlier this year, my SA was the most courteous (No BS) and offered it to me at MSRP + dealer installed options worth $2k. I'll share my experience as this progresses, however still, I highly recommend them even from a service perspective as they are very particular (almost OCD, like me)
Edit: for those wanting to know the name of my SA/ Dealer, PM me and I'll be more than happy to share. I must have called almost 15 dealers and have some good contacts, although I cannot promise an allocation. :P

I was told that the June builds will be delivered by the end of July/ August at the latest. I would assume that to be a MY22 then, as for most cars, fall onwards is the following year's model.

Nooooo, I meant the gub'ment for charging us extra for “guzzling gas!” When we probably put fewer overall miles than some other “more efficient cars”. At least some of us.

I hope I can mention the dealer's name, as I am not familiar with the rules and haven't read up on it yet. Dealer I got my Spyder allocation from is Hennessy Porsche in Atlanta.

You can mention dealers names. I almost placed a deposit with them the other week. They seemed like real friendly folks. I spoke on the phone with a fella named Richard, I believe. They said all cars are required to be fitted with a GPS tracker and an interior and exterior coating. I suspect that's the $2k of addons you were referring to?

Awesome! Yeah, I was really close to pulling the trigger on that deposit, but I had a few more names to check off my excel list and ended up going with a dealership in Ohio (which is also a much shorter drive for me). I am happy to hear everything is going well for you over there. Richard seemed like a really straight shooter from our conversations.
