Thanks and yes, the 2 way compared to the 18 way. The latter does not have the electronics/motors for movement, etc. so I thought the 2 ways might be lower. And PTS is not available so instead of waiting for a 22 model I am going with Yellow.

May build, nice, so june/july delivery? Good to see it's still summer deliveries. Did you buy through a big dealer?
I'll probably call next week then for an update. The dealer I'm dealing with isn't huge, but isn't tiny either so I'm crossing my fingers I get that call this month.

Fun story: I'm down in Palm Springs vacationing with a group of our close friends (one of whom is a big Porsche guy and owner of a really nice 991.2 CGTS). Today we decided to cruise over to Porsche of Palm Springs. After being completely ignored for at least 30 minutes, I approached someone and asked to speak to a sales person. The guy who ended up "helping us" couldn't be less interested in doing so. I explained my interest in his ability to source a GT4 allocation (and mentioned that I've been sitting on a few lists for quite some time) and without missing a beat, he said: "You're not going to get a car. They're done building the GT4. Production stopped earlier this month, and they're moving on to the new GT3 since they don't build more than 1 GT model at a time".

Here's my hot of the press report - My SA called me back today and explained that 2 allocation spots opened up for Spyders today, after waiting with no spots opening up for well over a month, and that the 2 guys in front of me got to order their cars. Great for them. He told me that I am currently #1 or #2 in line when the next allocation spots open up, and that delivery lead time was almost 5 months for the 2 cars ordered today.

...you should have asked him if he needed to finish detailing cars or if he could track down a product expert for you.
