Good for you! I’m still waiting to here back from my Toronto dealer, hopefully soon. Did your dealer give any indication as to how many allocations they received?

So I got a GT4 delivery for April in Ottawa but the dealer told me that they weren't doing European Delivery for 718 GT cars. Anyone heard similar?

According to this thread looks like some have been successful? IIRC, Euro delivery cost the dealer some $$$... maybe they are trying to avoid that?

Scratch that... Finished reading that thread... looks like Euro delivery starts June 2020.

Are you getting a Spyder or GT4? Did they give you an idea as to delivery date?

Plus, it’s my understanding you have to spec Euro delivery prior to order lock. You can’t just add it after the fact. Not sure when your lock is/was.

I had spec'd the delivery before the lock.

Euro Delivery costs the dealer 3k USD (or maybe $3500). They are supposed to get another allocation for the trouble. However, for GT cars, they often don't. If you offered to pay it, I'm sure they would sing a different tune.

Congrats welcome to the club, now the real waiting begins. I was lucky to get the first OItawa GT4 allocation past Sept, same Euro delivery story for me. FYI US customers get preference on this option. It was a do you want the car now or a car and vacation possibly with more wait? You know my choice, what color you going for I choose MB.

I bought two cars from them and traded one. Tried Pfaff for my GT3 for 2.5 years because I bought my 997.2 from them, nothing, kept putting me off and then I got an allocation from London. I realize that Pfaff owns London or some portion of it.

I'm looking for a Spyder. They told me they don't have allocations yet (last Friday). Do you know otherwise?

I heard for GT car euro delivery they get allocation of the regular model, non GT.

I find this interesting. Porsche offers it right on the configurator at no cost. Yet a dealer can deny and say it's not being offered. Seems like a disconnect. What would Porsche Canada or PCNA say if presented the situation.

i would 100% shoot a message to Porsche HQ that a dealer will not let you do Euro Delivery. I do it on every model I order, dealer likes getting extra cars.
