Just got an allocation with 4/4/20 completion date on a GT4 last week @ MSRP in Atlanta. Porsche code PLQC5PP7.

Going to miss my Boxster S, but looking forward to it.

Just curious, for those of you that are getting GT4 allocations - how long have you had deposits / reservations in for?

November 2017 for me. I was 4th on the list, and am getting the first car. Basically since the rumors started. My dealer seems to have a constant waiting list though and people drop off pretty regularly. First time Porsche buyer. No drama.

No deposit before the allocation. I put my order demand in the week it was on the configurator, but I'd been mentioning interest to my dealer for months before.

How did this song and dance go for the 981? People said for the 991.2 GT3, allocations would be MSRP eventually. It never really happened with ADMs still in prominence at the very end for a configurable slot. Will this be different for the GT4 and Spyder?

Unfortunately, they are the vast exception and won't have enough to satisfy demand despite having awesome service and sales. More wondering about the other hundreds of dealers out there.
