Here is my build. Not sure I would go the "yellow route" but I thought I would play with it a bit. I think if I went with this one I would have to get the calipers painted yellow as well. Might be a little much!

Got a Spyder allocation! June freeze, July build, September estimated delivery at MSRP. Super stocked as this is actually the FIRST brand new car I'll have ever purchased . Everything always been used or CPO.

Still toying with the build but might look something like this: http://www.porsche-code.com/PN68UUV6

I’m not jealous your 2022 will be here before my 2021 with a new engine. Nope, not jealous at all….

I’m glad to see allocations coming in for people, I hope they make enough for everyone that wants one! I would go shark blue without a doubt if I was starting over again.

Jeff, I still think all the engine replacements/ con rod repairs will be done sooner than expected. I think it’s a case of Porsche “Under promise and over deliver”.

Texas dealer not responding? How did you get an allocation elsewhere?

I'm a man that likes my color, but if I were to add since you're going with Heritage colors interior - I would be all about red roof and red or white gauges. I personally like the PDLS in black too. I have them and they make a huge difference in styling and at night driving

Correct. Will be 72 hours as of lunchtime today. Not going to name names, but **** poor service. I would've been willing to hang around if they'd responded in a reasonable time with 'no allocations yet' or some other brief status update. Instead, I'm supposed to be 'next in line', but radio silence when allocations are dropping, this is the second time. If they don't get back in touch WRT my refundable deposit soon, I will head up the food chain.

I cold called a couple other TX dealers with no success, then called an out of state dealer based on a tip in this forum and snagged one.

Congrats brutha. Glad you scored one. Had I got skipped on this round, I was going to do the same thing. I think I might’ve been the one to suggest that. There’s a lot of dealerships in small towns that kinda go under the radar!! May I ask where? Purely curious. And you don’t need to divulge if you don’t feel comfortable doing so.

I'll accept the congrats when I'm road trippin the car home haha. Seems we picked near the worst possible time to buy a GT4... I'd throw you a referral, but the dealership where I got my allocation had one (the one I snagged), it was just a few hours after it'd materialized for him, and the SA said others where trying to get it while my order was being input. I'm inclined to believe him after watching a local 981 that had obvious signs of being tracked hard, sell in 1 day at its 2016 MSRP. And given my local SA's lack of interest in building any semblance of a customer relationship. Pretty wild market right now. If I do get my build at MSRP in October I'll consider myself fortunate.

I tried some random cold calling around the country, and have some mealy mouthed commitments for future allocations, but nothing solid.

Just got a 2022 GT4 allocation!! Now I'm officially at V200, super excited. It's a July build and estimated September delivery.

I'm jealous of all the GT4 allocations with July build and September delivery! I'm a September build with Nov/Dec delivery
