FWIW Dept.....After buying cars for fifty plus years I have a system that seems to work for me pretty well. I try my best to get the best deal I can, take delivery...then FORGET ABOUT IT.

Why beat yourself up? It's a losing deal every time we buy one of these things. Just enjoy the car and forget about it.

Crystal ball...and probably scarcity, given PAG uncertainty.

99.9%?

You can buy mine now for only $100k, a bargain for a collectible. LOL

This week, I picked up a 2018 Cayman GTS (GT silver on black, PDK) in Chicago area. 3,024 miles on the clock, CPO, $102k sticker. I was able to purchase for $72,500. I spent some time shopping since end of August, made a few offers that didn't get done. I'm awaiting delivery...so I haven't seen my car yet. Hopefully it doesn't smell like BO.

I hate you. I wanted that car but called too late.

I mean, congrats!

Never said "all of a sudden", but given some patience, I think so, depended on what PAG finally does with new Cayman offerings.

Oh, ye of little faith

LOL, I’m excited like a five-year-old on Christmas morning. Of course, your hatred makes it even sweeter.

Seriously, if you find yourself in Indianapolis, look me up and we’ll go for a drive.

Delivery is allegedly queued up for tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks. I’ll definitely post up some pics if I can figure out where to post on here (I’m a newb on Rennlist).

Here’s a pic of the car from dealer. Can’t wait to get the visor stickers off...

Very nice car, like the color and the wheels. The silver looks so good. And doesn't show dirt/dust as bad as darker colors. Congrats!

Thanks. I agree it's a great color. It wasn't my first or second choice, but the spec is otherwise perfect and the deal was great. Personally, I love agate grey and night blue.

I dealt with Troy Vail at Napleton Porsche. Fantastic, first class service from him and Napleton.
